Good news that Ossian have survived the terrible mess with the release and are working on something else. I quite liked MoW, though clearly nowhere near as much as Happycrow did.

That is good news. I hope Ossian has better fortune now that they have a project that does not tie them to Atari. It is about time things went their way.

You should buy MOTB to support Ossian's efforts if for nothing else. Sure they get no royalties, but its the thought that counts.

I thought that MOTB was worth the money. There were several very interesting parts. I am partial to wilderness adventures, so the city got a little cramped, but overall I was pleased.

Just finished MoW not too long ago. Great fun it was. It has a good story and depending on your choices the ending is great.

MoW was a really enjoyable adventure - no bugs, as far as I could tell. And the companions were very well written. Two things to bear in mind, though:

1) There is no arcane caster companion, so if you really want a wizard in your party, you'll have to play one.

2) As far as I'm aware, this doesn't (and officially never will) work with Kaedrin's PrC pack (is this still right? It's been a while since I played MoW). In fact, I found that even trying to start MoW while having Kaedrin-based characters in my local vault would crash the game. So create a new local vault for Westgate and make sure your override is clear. I believe there is a workaround for this on the NWVault, but it isn't endorsed by the MoW team, and I haven't used it so don't know if it works.

If you have SoZ (and everyone should) then you can add its party creation feature to MoW using this modified campaign.cam file http://nwvault.ign.c...I.Detail&id=147, and then use my Deck of Trumps item from the Silverwand Sundries http://nwvault.ign.c...s.Detail&id=133 to create a wizard party member.

Wish I could buy it from Amazon. I like to limit the number of sites where I expose my credit card info.
