I am currently playing through DA) Awakening for the first time and thought that I would post some opinions here.

Will have to admit that the Stamina Potions are a great addition.

The Rune crafting Ability isn't bad;  but I am wondering if the cost of making some of them is really worth it? For example a Pargon Lightening Rune does +7  additional Electrical damage; costs about 25 gold to make just one of them and sells for slightly more than 3gp. You can eat up allot of gold making runes. And from what I've already played through on the expansion There don't seem to be enough game play to justify the high cost of making the Rune's for the low benefit that they give.

Bioware should have made it about 1/2 cost. Plus the fact that it takes you so long to get to "Master Rune Crafting don't give you much time to use the runes. After all the expansion is 1/2 over before you are high enough to craft the high end runes.

Also when I imported my character over from DAO Some things for which I would have liked to have come over with him like Bergen's Honor which was the in game bonus for which you got when you pre ordered and Star Fang the Long sword for which you had made from the astoroid through the Soldiers peak Expansion module didn't come over. Which I would have loved to have had both of these Items. I did have them equiped in DAO when I finished it and imported my Character. Wades Superior Dragonbone plate which I had him make me in DAO and had equipped transfered over.

For future reference is there any way for which I can get both  Bergen's Honor and Star Fang to Transfer over when I import my character. Maybe a module for which someone wrote that would allow this? I think them were two fo the better Items in the game for a fighter. Especially one the Dual weapons Long Swords.

Also does anyone including those that work for Bioware know if they are going to be making any expansions with DAO Awakening like the did RTO and SP for the Orginal?

Considering Awakening showers you in gold and that keeping all that gold in your treasury won't do much good, I don't mind to spend it all in runes. They are completely unnecessary but like I said, it's not like I have much use for all that gold anyhow. There are only a few "must have items" in the stores, so I always end up with a lot of spare money.



As for the import issue, only DLC items from RTO will carry over into Awakening.
