Myself and another have been playing Neverwinter Nights 2 via LAN/Multiplayer the last couple weeks and we have been expericing graphics issues since the start of the (As shown below in the screenshots). We once thought that it just happened in everyother zone, and that we could play around it , but there have been many zones in a row that look the same as in the screenshots. What confuses me though is that if you notice in the first screenshot, the screen is white, but if opening the load screen, the same exact area is shown as colored or "proper". I should also mention that I've tryed disabling and enabling much of the graphic options to see if that would make any difference. It didn't.

We both are running Windows Vista x86, NVIDIA 8600M GT, and have the latest graphic drivers and versions of DirectX.

I noticed while reading a FAQ on Technical Help, that some integrated laptop video drivers may not be supported. Could this be reason? If not, any available help or infomation would greatly help.

Thanks

Yes, that's a driver problem I encountered myself just a few days ago. You might want to check this topic. long story short: Try the latest beta-driver from nvidia. Though I don't know if it's already available for laptops.

An alternative I've only tried for a moment (so I can't say if it works consistently) is turning the sky off. The graphics bug you see is a result of the skybox-textures. You can disable it by opening the console, enter "DebugMode 1", then "sky 0". This will turn off the sky texture (which might be bad if you play in 3rd person a lot) but the rest of the grapihcs SHOULD work fine as far as I know. Oh, don't forget to switch the debug mode off again with "DebugMode 0".
