It didn't work for me. The update just re-corrupted the DLC, meaning I had to redownload it again AND remove the update.

Thats strange. I just downloaded them again and it works fine. I didnt have to remove anything.
Maybe I just got lucky.

Wow, how did this pass cert? hmm, I am hoping Sony Cert process is better. sorry to hear you are having issues. and I hope they have a fix for it soon.

Just updated... On the menu screen the first (and last, I hope) problem I've encountered is that the game doesn't recognize DLC as being present. Some of the DLC has been found fine (eg. Stone Pris and Warden's Keep) but "Exclusive: Dalish promise ring/Lion's Paw/Feral Wolf charm" and "Preorder item: memory band" are flagged as Purchased, not Downloaded. Will redownload and hope everything works OK...

That's weird, for me all I had to do was re-download some DLC Items but I was able to resume my save game without any problems. BTW, I'm playing on the old Xbox 360 Core system. I don't know if that matters.

Thanks for the patch but I have one question on future patchs. I will even pay $2/$3 for this: can you make the Ultimate Sacrifice ending carry over to Awakening but still be the Orlesian Warden. I want my options to make a difference. If not then anyway thanks for the patch and Awakening was still great anyway.

I downloaded the patch and I'm not encountering any problems. I don't have all the DLC, but my Blood Dragon armor is working fine. I'm on a regular 360, though.



Also...I feel the like release notes are a little vague. Does this mean that all DLC should transfer OK to Awakenings?

after re-loading an item because the game refused to load my saves without it, I play with the new patch since 2 hours and absolutly no problems

all the old saves of DAO were ok and now I am playing awakening with an imported character of dao

all is ok

Ugh I was under the impression this patch was fixing blight-queller and master warden, guess it was my fault for not seeing that the achievement fixes were PC only.



Anyway, patch installed fine, didn't have to redownload any dlc. I play on a pretty old xbox.

Ugh, I had "the ring of death" 2 times already. I feel your pain. Anyway, I was reading the release notes and I didn't see the dagger damage fix on there. Does this mean that it was not added to this patch? Oh Victor where are youuuuuuuu,  we have some questions for you.

What the hell is going on i've already had my game saves wiped from transferring my saves over and now i cant even complete the game again!

It seems like they have changed all pre-oder and "special" (edge, journeys) items in the dlc menu ingame.

I just had to redownload them, everything is working fine for me (xbox is from 2006 )

Wow. Thanks a lot Bioware. Im going to think about Lelianas Song now. Awakening also. You know how this business works. No support and there wont be any support by most of the customers. So I guess you did yourselve a big favour with this patch.

Uh oh. This doesn't sound good. My XBOX had problems with the last patch, so I wonder if that means it would have problems with this patch, too.

Downloaded the patch..

Results on Xbox 360 Falcon chip, 120gig harddrive, Hdmi connection.

Things I did before downloaded the patch:

*3 days ago I formated my hard drive (just for maintence purposes, I kept all my data on a 16gig usb stick (saves and dlc))

*Installed a fresh install of the dragon age disk on the hard drive. The DLC were already there.

*Then applied the patch.

+ No corruptions on DLC
+ No corrupted saves
*knocks wood* still playing..

Edit : My imagination or does everything sound crisper on the sound department ?

Yeah, I've had RROD once myself so I know what that feels like... Concerning daggers, I am getting more and more convinced that the dex bug is fixed. My rogue does more damage now. Earlier I had to wait until I got Lethality before actually doing some real damage to the enemy. 

Daggers were mentioned in the patch notes, unfortunately nothing else concerning dex was, anyone know if the bows/xbows are still gimped? Maybe I'll check it out, but I have worries about this patch after reading the last few pages.....wish me luck.
