An absolute joke. How did this pass certifiation!? It doesn't work!
Bioware, I have been an avid fan since ME1 and have since gone and played Kotor and pretty much every game you have been involved with. I have tremendous respect for you guys.
But this time, [i am extremely upset with you]. :(

I have the new XBOX 360 250GB slim. Moved all my data from old xbox. Playing with a current save on Awakenings and I cannot get the merchant upgrades to work. Yuriah doesn't have the rune tracings.



Other than that, I haven't noticed any difference from before except I got a letter from Lelianna.



Frustrating.

I just recently downloaded the patch for my XBOX 360. Now I cannot even load my last save :S



I tried to flush my cache and start up...no dice.



HELP! :(

I got the update a few hours ago and played for like 30 minutes, no issues. All my DLC is working and I got no game freezing. I do have a launch Xbox 360 so it seems to have worked in my favor. After many months of waiting for a decent patch I can now finally enjoy Dragon Age. ^_^

Suggest you review and perhaps also post in the XBox tech support forum...you're at least as likely to find someone with both knowledge and interest there.  I can't give you any hints, as I've never even touched an XBox.  Good luck.

Both of those are true. With the patch you gain 0.5 damage per point in dex or str/cun as GarrelSpeed said  because damage is now split 50/50%. Before the patch you would gain the full 1.0 damage per point in cun/str as it was 100% str/cun and no dex. So basically now you need 2 points of str/cun to get the same effect as you did before the patch with one point because the damage is now being split between two stats.

Sorry to all of you Xbox users. That really has to suck--sympathies!

A question I was curious about: Why couldn't the rest of the blackblade set just get turned into free DLC? It's just a small point of curiosity.

...Also, I hope that the Sony Certification runs through smooth and leaves us with a good product.

I am wondering this too. As well as making a new set of Sentinel Armor and Vigilence Sword without conflicting textures with Warden's Keep and adding that in the game. This redtape excuse seems like bull sometimes.

WOrks great.

Still encountered aa couple or so npcs that did not yield anything when stealing but 99% give me something.

Daggers work fine.

DLC works fine.

Nice job.

Ahh thank you just to make sure I understand this correctly .5 damage is from dex and the other .5 is from strength or cunning if you have lethality  so basically it's working the way it is suppose to then finally I have a reason to play a dex based backstabbing rogue!

I'm sorry that everyone with the 360S seems to be having problems.



I don't have a 360S. I have an Elite from Christmas of 2007. I also have all DLC except Awakenings. The patch has worked just fine for me. I haven't noticed any kind of problems at all, and I have been playing for the past three hours.



I think this is probably limited to the new 360 slims....

Same here guys I downloaded the new patch this morning and now i can't load my saved games or even start a new one. Bioware whats going on? I want my dragon age back!!

 I was hesitant, but I went ahead and installed the patch last night.  My previous playthrough had ended with the corrupt save glitch.  I was a human noble Cousland, and it glitched saving right before my confrontation with Howe.  It was very frustrating.  I am thrilled to report that I tried to load that save, and I was able to deal with Howe and continue my playthrough!

Ahh the only rogues i love...the ones with super high dex...works so well...and now i can use The Edge effectively.

Dex rogues are the only ones I can play otherwise I may as well make a warrior.None of my warriors except ranged use a ton of dex.

. Bows are still only getting .3 from either str or dex. Crossbows are getting nothing from either. Which was one of the bigger items I was hoping would get fixed.

I installed the patch. All seems to be well.



Though, it has to be said. I am slightly frustrated that I didn't wait for the patch before replaying a mage character that was lost, because I could have saved the character, rather than deleting the corrupted save and starting anew. Then again, in the intervening months, I have got back to the same point.



BTW, I got the Ogre's Keeper achievement no problem the first time I played it. Maybe I was just lucky?

4 hours more and then it's the end of this day in my country, and still no fix. 2 days and no fix. If we dont get a fix soon, then i think they should at least say "working on it", or give us some sort of a indication on what they are doing. I would rather see that instead of nothing, even if they are repeating themselves. Many people here cannot play the game.
