They are definitely more expensive than the PC versions of the same game. Micro$oft makes money from the users who buy the game and also take in money from the vendors who write the game on their platform. Profit from both ends of the sale. And people say Bioware is EVIL!!
I don't know how this patch issue turned into Microsoft is evil. But I will say this; it doesn't matter which console it is, all console makers make money off of other companies that want to use their systems. As for the prices of the games, just blame the people who buy the products. Supply and demand is what drives the prices. As far as I can recall the prices have been the same since the NES. Ranging from $39.99 to $59.99. Nothing much has changed in over 20 years.

Don't forget all the avatar items, also overpriced for the most part, 400 ms points for an outfit for your avatar that does nothing really, they say they don't make money, but I think it's bs, they get a piece of every arcade game, dlc, add-on etc. on top of everything else.
Anyways back on topic, is there any word on when the updated patch will be out, kinda sucks being kicked off live every time I play since I don't want to rollback.

Yes...another couple more months. Perhaps by the game's one year anniversary, the game will finally be patched up, or at least most of it. I just hope we don't see more of the same with DA2.

It did but they had to roll it back because of problems Xbox Slim users were having.Zen_and_bullets wrote...

It was out for a day or two, or something, and then rolled back because of crash on newer systems. Now it's been about 8 days that happened and still no fix. But Bioware stated several places that they're "close" for a solution, and that was two or three days ago. So what they mean by "close" is everybody's guess. I just hope they can release it before / in the weekend.
EDIT:
Whops. Didn't see you got an answer when i posted this.

Staying on topic, can we expect more patches in the future to fix issues like bows, crossbows, etc.?

Ok, so does this patch fix things or does it only fix things if you are starting from scratch? ie: Am I gonna have to make another profile to avoid endin up in my drawers in the begining of Awakenings?
I am also wondering if we must start from scratch?
Any news/update on the status of patch 1.04? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on the bug / glitch.
Corrupted saves should apparently work. I think the majority of the bugs will work, even if you load, but i know that some don't.

While I agree with the statemen, I find it odd that bioware has time to post things like this but they can't even give us even the littlest bit of info on the 1.04 patch they pulled?

I really wish Bioware would update us on what's going on with the patch. Last Wednesday Fernando Melo said we'd know something soon, and here it is almost a week later, yet still we know nothing. :/
I'm getting a wierd sense of deja vu, feels like the nine months leading up to the patch when all was silent....
