I'll probably go with a male rogue first. I had a tough time playing a female character in Origins (I'm female in RL). I think it had to do with the way the characters walked/ran. A tough female warrior probably wouldn't have that much hip action. If they change the animations a bit, my second character will be a female warrior. If not, I'll be sticking with male toons.

Definitely a female rogue on the first playthrough, as always, providing the option is there.
As a male myself I generally play as a female character of each class first, and then I investigate the male experience. Well, it is supposed to be fantasy after all.
