I love hooded robes so I was a little upset when I didn't find any in DA:O  come look how awesome hooded mages look. they look intimidating and cool

I actually liked the feathers, not the ones on the cowls because that was ugly, but the ones on some of the mage robes.

Why must all weapons stick to ones back? Why can't a dual wielder have one on the back, on at the hip? Bows over the shoulder? Hammers...however you sheathe/holster a hammer!

This is nitpicking, really. But I'd love to see cloaks. Hooded cloaks? Not if I the stats are sucky in comparison to a cloak/cowl combo...naaaah, it'd probably be worth it.

Also, more unique armor models! I hated that the most expensive armor in the game (I think?) Evon the Great's Mail looked identical to any other regular heavy armor. >[ If I spent my entire DAO salary on one piece of armor, it'd better look pretty, dammit!

EDIT: Oooh, ooh, and being able to buy pretty pretty gowns! That I don't raid off of Marjolaine's corpse!

Dear god, yes, we need cloaks, hoods, and hooded robes. Hell a cape would be nice too. anything but those god awful DAO hats! I never equipped them cuz they made Morrigan look like a damned bird >.>

The answer from Greg Zoeller (sp?) back in the day was that it was just too resource intensive to do. To get the seathe right you have to have the right kind of graphical engine. The sword has to naturally slide out of the sheath without clipping, so you need a unique seath model for every model of sure you use. Then you need unique models for dual wielding (unless you just reverse the side of the sheath).

You sort of had cloak looking things with some of the mage equipment. It just came with a stupid looking feather.

I agree. The problem is that the more zots they put into unique armour, the less armour models there can be.
