I finished ME2 second time around and want to play it a third time with my ME2 character and the DLC I just purchased. I select new, ME2 character and the intro scenes play unyil after Joker.  Then the screen goes black but sounds play.
I can continue playing the previous characters where I left off, but why won't it allow me to import so I can play a third time?
Doesn't matter which patch I use, whether 1.01 or 1.02, and I don't believe the DLC has anything to do with it.
This is a very strange issue and I hope someone has an answer for this.

did you get any help on this? Because I have something similar happening to me, when i go to play joker near the end of the second game the screen goes black but the music still plays. I dont know whats going on....

Refer to the "How to Report" sticky, and to what it asks for add this:

I will need your power supply brand, model number, wattage, and age (OK, I know that was kinda loose at the end of the sentence, but I did mean the age of the power supply.  They deteriorate faster than any other PC part).
