Best Overall class

at beating mass effet 2 on insantiy. Now I would think that three
components go into the best class. survivability, killing power and
versatility. I believe the overall best class is the sentinel. They have
a power to strip each enemys defence, which makes them extremely
versitile. They have decent kill power when combining gunfire and
powers. And they have the most survivability out of any class. With Tech
armor insanity is a walk in the park. thoughts?

Soldier does the most damage so if you are a good shot you will be incredibly effective. IMHO both these classes kill faster than Sentinel. Sentinel is not far behind though.

I assume you're talking about Insanity, coz at Veteran an below an Adept can kill a lot faster than the other classes. On Insanity level (I never played Hardcore, but enemies have protection like insanity I believe) a Vanguard rules in terms of pure killing speed.
Btw, the video you posted yesterday fighting a Geth Prime, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's Tali's loyalty mission. Never knew loyalty missions could be completed without the involved squadmate. I only played the recruitment and Collector missions solo, but assumed since some levels can't be completed without squadies (Grunt's- & Samara's recruitment missions and Horizon for example) that the loyalty missions would be 'bugged' too. Going to try this after I completed Tali's recruitment mission with the Claymore

Yes, Insanity of course
About the Tali mission, I dunno, I do not edit the ini files, I went through the mission with my squad, saved before the fight, removed squadmates using gibbed save editor and went from there.

Damn, didn't know it worked with Gibbed too. I always had to replay mission that needed squadies to trigger some kind of cutscene in the end. Thanks Kronner, now I can try to complete all loyalty missions) solo too and using Gibbed's editor is faster compared to modding the ini files.

Sentinel is more Adept than Adept and more resilient than Soldier.

How does the class that rely purely on shooting require the least skill? It may be the most mindless, but certainly "skill" is required.
I wouldn't exactly call it "mindless" either. Just because the Soldier doesn't have any active powers outside of Adrenaline Rush doesn't mean that the gameplay has been reduced the gameplay to the point of mindlessness. Consider this: each individual weapon has a particular range or situation yielding maximum effectiveness. Sounds just like a power, am I right?
Plus, as a Soldier, you have to rationalize the battlefield in the same way every other class does, just with a different power set. In some instances it requires probably even more "mindful" and tactical gameplay because the Soldier quite obviously lacks the crowd control that other classes have, forcing the Soldier to be constantly vigilant. With some classes it's really easy to just hunker down in cover and spam Reave or a similar skill at anything that moves, but the Soldier actually has to be active, close distances and utilize all weapons and all ranges of combat to succeed. As other classes have a multitude of skills, a Soldier has a multitude of weapons. When you look at it this way, Soldier combat is just as deep as the other classes.
