Can someone please tell me how specialization works
So how exactly do specializations work? :S

I am insanely confused. So I have this level 10 mage and in it, i have Shape-shifter unlocked. Now.. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? when do i get to put a point into it? Will i get to put a point into it? Because in my spells section, I have no spell for shapeshifting but yet when i level up, i see that shape shifting is colored or unlocked unlike the other specilizations. How do i put my point into it? I know you get a "point" at level 7 and 14, but now after i level, it doesnt ask me if i want to specialize.. IM SO CONFUSED. HELP.

okay so you put the spec point into shapeshifter, when you hit level 7? the point being on the attirbute screen of chracter leveling.
that point just means you have opened a new power path, which you still need to put points into on your talent/powers screen during character leveling.
it sounds like you bought Shapeshifter as a class specilization but have not bought any shapeshifter spells.
