Hi, I'm new to how the toolset works, and how custom content works also, but i'll throw in a few questions that hopefully people can answer.
I've seen a few user's avatar's with custom hairstyles, and even faces - Do you need the toolset to install other user's hairstyles and faces (if of course they share custom content they created)?
Also, are there any full custom campaigns, or short stories (a bit like how Leliana's story works) available to download from anywhere, and again do you need the toolset to install them.
I've tried installing the toolset, and I know only a tiny amount about databases and obviously is why my toolset seems to just not want to work, are there any idiot guides around for installing the toolset?
Much appreciated if anyone can help me out, especially with custom campaigns, i'd love to experience someone else's work.

1) Nope, can you just download the files they're using and put them in an override directory, like documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override.
2) Again, you don't need the toolset. Most mods come as a .dazip file, which you can install by running "DAUpdater.exe" in your [dragon age install]/bin ship directory and selecting the appropriate file. As for particular mods, check out this thread: http://social.biowar...55135/1#3185736
3) You may wish to check out the toolset wiki, http://social.biowar...x.php/Main_Page notably getting starting -> installing the toolset.

hey!
1) There are different packs of hair/tattoos/skins etc. you can use, it can be both used in toolset or game, so if you just want to play your playthrough with different face, you dont need toolset.
Think this link could help you
http://social.biowar...iscussion/5715/

lol, I'm not even in the toolset yet because it refuses to open up no matter how much I follow the troubleshooting xD
Ah well, I guess it's because I use Vista and there are some messed up directories. The Toolset itself is in the Dragon Age folder but the SQL server refuses to work and when I go to look in that DAODB folder, there are actually NO files whatsoever inside there, even though the database install told me it succeeded.
I just can't seem to find the bw_dragonage_content file anywhere, not to mention all that Vista "Run as Administrator" BS that you have to deal with (although that should be solved by now).
Maybe I just need to get Win7, I don't know. I'm just fed up with nothing ever working. You install and you start the program, how hard is it? Apparently quite hard. I'll hope the SC2 Editor is a little more user friendly, I should be intelligent enough to fix it all but I'm just so damn fed up that's all.
