Bigby's Forceful Hand performs opposed strength check for bull rush, not grapple check. Still, it's wonderful against low to mid strength (and has non-negligible chance to work against the strongest) creatures, because it renders them completely helpless and there is only one check at the beginning, not every round as in other Bigby's spells.bobothegoat wrote...
Probably the best single-target disable in the entire game (for MotB at least): Bigby's forceful hand. If the hand wins a grapple check, they are knocked down and dazed for 1 round per level. It works on the Faceless Man too. Pretty much works on everything in mask of the betrayer, since even if they're immune to mind affecting spells, the KD still triggers. The only things you face that can withstand that spell will usually have bad will saves, so you can get them with solipsism.
