Well at least she is in better clothes this time.
I'd say she looks pretty damn good for a 60+ year old lady! Good lord, some people can be such ageists... Respect, people! ;_;
young bodies of others I respect her.....after chop of her head.
oh well honest mistake
Romance with Flemeth anyone ?
@Sirshrek
Well according to this pic Hawke meet with her after her transformation. That means she already been killed by us or let loose
At any rate she probably traveled Free marches.
My guess is that place is not Lothering because Hawke leave Lothering at the start of the game and while Blight still on the road. And I don't suppose Flemeth just hang around Lothering after slain by us. ( again by judging her new form ) It can go many ways depends on players choices ( you still have to complete broken circle soo it depends when player complete it , first or last )
Again we don't know much about her powers and her body-changing. Maybe she found a new body immediately when we slain her ( or let her loose ) although unlikely she is a mistery yet to be explored. Whoknows , she may even try to get Hawke's sister's body ( which will be her 2nd death at my hands )

errm. I think there is some confusion....
Flemeth always had the ability turn into a Dragon.. even before meeting us.
We visited Loethering MUCH MUCH before we killed Flemeth.
Loetherin seems to be destroyedd if:
PC leaves Loethering or camp near Loethering to follow any of the quests...

I'm pretty sure 'transformation' would refer to her as a Dragon -- which we saw in the Game Informer screen.
We will probably meet her in Lothering.

Ugh...she's got Wynne syndrome...old face, hot body...I know she's a shapeshifter and all and appears different to different people, but is this new look just part of the new visual style or are can we expect this sort of visual retcon throughout the whole game?

1) The article has a description of a magic fatality. "A giant black hand grabs an ogre and squeezes the blood out of him".
2) It also says that DA2 is 3 times longer than DAO(!!!), though I'm sure the journalists are mistaken on that part, probably because Bioware told them about the 10-year span of the story. That doesn't necessarily mean that the game itself will be longer.

2, or we finally got to know one of the real reasons to cut out origins and races

OK...GUYS LISTEN TO THIS.
It is a spoiler.... Most probably that is..
You can see smoke riding from behind the mountain?
That COULD be Loethering... Thus explaining where we met Flemeth.
Well that seems unlikely since by that time we killed OR at least newly picked up the quest from the Morrigan ( which requires to complete The Broken Circle quest line. )
I don't think she can change bodies that fast after she slain by us.
OR that old hag was just a mere puppet of her to gain some time to find a new body and meet the ''destined '' Hawke ! ( too much theory ! I .... must ...stop.. )
But then again , what do we really KNOW about her anyways ? she is a total mistery besides the legends and shapeshifting into a Friggin High Dragon.
Origin -> Ostagar -> Loethering -> first main quest = buring of Loethering ... so how could you slay Flemeth before the town gets burned?
It also confirms my expectation that you meet Flemeth right at the beginning of the game.
Well thats my point . As said , Hawke won't be staying around too long in Ferelden after Lothering and by your expectations it means Flemeth's ''old Hag mode'' still lives and this picture is not that Flemeth but a renewed one.
For Hawke to meet Flemeth's this form , either Warden must first complete Broken Circle quest , get the quest from Morrigan ( Lothering burned down at this point and Hawke fled ) , confront Flemeth , decide whether you let her live or just kill her. Either way it is unlikely that she will pop-out at Lothering saying '' I just get killed by a Warden but I regained a better body , can I join you while you flee ? ''
That said , we actually don't know how her powers works except she is a powerful abomination and shapeshifter and probably can see future ( predictions about Maric and Warden ) but her Body changing legend even a mistery for Morrigan. How can she change bodies at this short notice. I guess we need to wait some official info about her

Well, I'm sure they cut out origins because this isn't Dragon Age: Origins 2 so there's that, and Hawke is from Lothering, a human town with maybe a few impoverished elves laying about, so there's that.

Hmm, maybe Flemeth meets hawke before she may be killed by Warden, then probably meets her again later either in old or young form depending on if Warden killed her
Why do you think there is a second meeting?

Who lives there with a Mage sister surrounded by Templars?
I doubt that....
I rather think He fought at Ostagar... Look at how well he is armoured..

By transformation I mean her new body at this Screenshot.
I know she can probably turn into a dragon for centuries.
I should be more clear about things when I write , sorry about that
but as I said we can meet her old self at lothering ( I dont think she will left her hut to travel across a blighted path though ) and after she find a new body , she can introduce herself to Hawke again and join him this time.

Well if she were a good mage then she would no doubt be able to hide her powers. And what do you doubt? That Hawke is from Lothering? Haven't the devs said that Hawke is from Lothering or am I wrong?

You are not wrong.. But they did not say that he lived there... They mention that he escaped Loethering...
