Very interesting, and I'm loving Flemeth's new look, horns and all.



On a side note, anyone else think that the shine on Hawke and Bethany's hair looks a bit odd?

how do you know that is flemeth? there is no proof it could be a brand new character for all you know. It doesn't even look like flemeth from the first game, she is to young

I don't think she looks that young, necessarily, but in any case Mary Kirby has mentioned that just because the Warden saw her as a hag doesn't mean that's all there is to her.  She is supposed to be an enigma--even Morrigan didn't know much about her.

Flemeth helps to set Hawke on his/her path in DA 2.

I'm wondering how much of a role Flemeth will have in the game? If this is taking place early on, its possible the Warden would have killed her later. And even then, her body was supposedly old and fading, so it would seem we may see her early on then not again for a couple years until she can get hold of a new body.



I know she's a shapechanger and all, but I'm not crazy about how her face looks in that screen- it doesn't look like the concept art and its no where near her face from Origins, even in general facial structure. Hell, if they don't have Kate Mulgrew voicing her you wouldn't even realize that was Flemeth...

True, I think my longest playthrough was 56 hours, and I took my tme, obviously.  But still, I'm at maybe my 4th playthough and my 4th different origin character, and I honestly don't know how I can beat the game another two more times before I start to grow grey hair!

Lol, I agree. DAO is....too great of an experience for me to go through more than the 4 times that I did. I'm going to wait for rest of the DAO DLC to come out, and then give it another run. The Combat in DAO is fun, but IMO, not as engaging as combat in ME2, so I've actually done more ME2 playthroughs than DAO playthroughs.

Perhaps it was becuase the difference in classes was greater in ME2 than DAO, but I digress

I keep doing different playthroughs and I never get bored with it. I'm used to replaying games though; I barely buy any games if I don't think they have high replayability.  The funny thing is, I always play the same origin too.

I liked Flemeth in DA:O, and I'd like to see her back.  As for the whole Kreia, Ravel, etc. thing, tropes aren't bad if implemented well.  Flemeth stood out with her obfuscating crazy that masks a very powerful, manipulative mage.

Either her nature as a unique abomination has a very important link to dragons or she just REALLY likes that particular form.

I'm hoping for the former. It's about time dragons actually have something significant to do with, umm... what's this franchise called again?

I wonder how long it took for us to get the Battle of Denerim ? 2 years ? 3 ? A lot of things can happen in that time especially with a blight ongoing.

I think about a year or so. All that traveling on foot...

WOW. Considering the protagonists are very well armoured and geared.. They could well be from Ostagar... OR at least Bethany may be an apostate.. (seems improbable considering she is wearing MAge Tower Robes).

Tell me an apostate without mage robes...Jowan had them, Anders had them...

I think I read somewhere that the person telling the story might embellish upon certain aspects, maybe they are doing this when describing Flemeth?



In the concept art, to me, she looks like she is just finishing her tranformation from dragon, she seems to have a dragon claw! ^^
