So I was playing Dragon Age two hours ago no worries. I turn it off have dinner and then it wants to install and update. I (stupidly) do it.
Now it freezes trying to load up my save file. It starts loading, and then the squigly logo thing stops spinnings and it just freezes and that's it. The whole Xbox freezes, not just the game.
So whatever you guys just did - REVERSE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks

First let me say I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're experiencing. Second, thanks for the reports, all. Something of importance for us to know is whether or not anyone experiencing this issue has an older style Xbox or if you all have the newer Xbox360 slim version?

ok people i worked this out and im proberly not the first but as i havnt seen the post this is what you do. i had the problem my saves were corupted all the bad stuff what is happaning to you guys. what you have to do is transfer your downloadable content Licenses to your new xbox 360 to do this you go on this site www.xbox.com/en-us/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/default.htm and follow the on screen instructions when you have finished your games will load up
Hi folks, another user posted this in the 1.04 release thread claiming that this fixed his issue. Since it has to do with migrating licenses from an old Xbox360, I'm not sure how useful it will be (read: YMMV, try this at your own risk) - but if anybody tries this and it fixes their problems, would you post here/let me know? Thanks.
edit: for link functionality.

So far the problem is restricted to the new Xbox360 Slim and from what I've been able to tell, some late-model Xbox360 Elites. We are in contact with Microsoft and are working hard on this problem. I'll keep monitoring the board for posts, but as soon as we have an update I'll be sure to pass it along.

Our apologies for those affected by this issue. We're working with MS on this to figure out why it would only affect a subset of 360s.
In the meantime, we've asked MS to remove the latest TU for the time being until we can resolve this, and replace it with the previous one.
We'll keep you informed of progress.
