In the meantime, we've asked MS to remove the latest TU for the time being until we can resolve this, and replace it with the previous one.
We'll keep you informed of progress.

I made a post in the other thread but thought it's worth repeating here, both to catch the attention of Bioware, and to help out anyone else who is having the same problem. Here it is:
--------------
Hi there everyone. This is my first post in Bioware Social Network, and PHEW! What a life-saver it is.
The exact same thing has happened to me as is happening to everyone else that has the new Xbox 360 Slim. I bought Dragon Age: Origins yesterday and played it for about 3 hours last night (absolutely LOVE this game!). I had no problems whatsoever.
About 45 minutes ago, I switched my Xbox 360 on and got prompted for the update. I accepted and when it was complete, I went to resume my game. It tried loading for about 20 seconds and then froze. I thought it was just probably a standard error as I've had games freeze in the past. Then I restarted my console, and tried loading again. Same thing happened. Tried a 3rd time and AGAIN it froze.
I had installed the game to my hard-drive last night so I deleted it and tried running it from the disc. But again it froze. Then I started panicking, thinking my save file is corrupt and that I may have to begin from the start again. But when I went to try and start a new game... again it froze.
I then came to this forum and it seems many other people are having the exact same issue.
Thank goodness for this advice:Orbytel wrote...
Ok, for 360 users there is a workaround to be able to actually play your saves-
Go to System Settings > Memory > Press Y on your main storage device > Select Clear Cache
Load DA:O, choose no to download the update, and you may get an error stating your DLC is corrupt.
If that is the case, go back into System Settings > Memory > Storage Device > Games > Dragon Age Origins > Delete your DLC.
Load the game again, and let it install the patch. From the main menu, redownload your DLC, but DO NOT load a saved game.
Go back to the System Settings and clear the System Cache again. Load up DA:O and don't install the update. You should be able to load your games without any problems. I'm currently playing offline, with my saves and DLC.
It appears that the update may corrupt your DLC when you try and load a game with the update installed.
do not work for me
every time i try the dlc end up corrupt even though i re-load everything
