Starting a conversation at the end of combat, but NPC is still in combat mode [SOLVED]

Hi all.

I know there have been multiple topics on this, and I understand how to start a conversation at the end of combat (I have it all working currently). My problem is that the person that the PC converses with is a party member and when I initiate the conversation he's still crouched over in combat mode, so you can only see the top of his head during the conversation.

Now I've tried calling UT_CombatStop on the party member before initiating the conversation, I've tried setting his combat state directly, and I've even tried setting the game mode to explore, but nothing so far has worked.

Has anyone figured this out?

I don't know what I did, but by messing around with the ordering of my function calls I got it to work.

You could try making the first line a cutscene (by using the 'make line cutscene' option in one of the menu bars, I think you may have to put the conversation on a stage first) and just set up a simple opening shot which uses the actor in question
