Personally, I find it too early to judge this game. Though i'm definitely intrigued.

No, Origins on consoles ( I have the 360 version) still looks better than this.haberman13 wrote...

Did DA:O look good on consoles, or worse than this?
DAO on consoles (on 360 anyhow) looks err... I don't know if you can really compare a retail version with pre-release screenshots but, as it is, I would say it looked worse, texture-wise.
So this is an upgrade then! Cool.

Ohhhh I haven't seen the dialogue wheel before. It looks nice, though I wonder what the other icons are gonna be like (what would be the icon for "irony" or "sarcasm"???)
Wheres a pic of the dialogue wheel?

Also Hawke's armor is just plain epic.

I actually think it's the same Mesh-II Relics II wrote...
I think Hawke's beard could rival even that of the great Duncan's beard.

The Sims always had solid graphics (and character graphics in particular) so that's hardly a complaint. In fact if the DA2 is "pretty close" then it's more of a compliment.Rubbish Hero wrote...
It's pretty close, still, sims has the upper hand due to a more polished presentation.
Graphically the sims 3 isn't really leaps and bounds, it's the solid presentation that holds it up.

I think it depends on how you look at the graphics. If you focus on the latest technological tricks above all else then no, Sims don't have that. But these games had solid craftmanship with good quality models for the times they were relases and given what they're used for.Rubbish Hero wrote...

Good? I wouldn't say so. Offensive to those who have a little brother who's unfortunate enough to have it? Yes. I do think that could have been worded in another, better, less insulting way for people with Down's Syndrome and for those who are somehow connected to them.

I think this is nothing about insulting, just like zombies can be described as looking like infected with leper this is also just about physical looks

Still, I think it could have been said in a different way but I'm just speaking from the point of view of someone, who's got a person like that in her familly, so as much as I understand your argument, I still think it's not exactly a nice thing when you compare an OGRE with someone who's got Down's Syndrome.
It's not my intention to start some kind of an argument war or anything, I just think that some people should try to find better ways to express their opinion
