You fanboys/girls should be beat with a barbed stick, repeatedly. All you do is whine, without even coming up with a proper solution or even an explanation. If you are going to throw a ****load of nukus in Bioware's face, at least do it properly.

Personally, I find it too early to judge this game. Though i'm definitely intrigued.

I find it amusing that some people actually think that it'll have worse graphics than origins. Sure some of these look bad, but I'll bet my right arm that we'll see much better screens soon. And the city screens are quite better than the ones in Origins.

Did DA:O look good on consoles, or worse than this?

DAO on consoles (on 360 anyhow) looks err... I don't know if you can really compare a retail version with pre-release screenshots but, as it is, I would say it looked worse, texture-wise.

So this is an upgrade then!  Cool.

No, Origins on consoles ( I have the 360 version) still looks better than this.

Wow these are shockingly awful. But its a while yet till release and I expect these were taken very early in development. Expect the game to have better graphics than DA:O for sure.

Obviously not the finished product.. Not even by far probably.

I actually like the way Hawke looks though. :D I am surprised by my sudden interest in his beard.

The enviros are looking better than the first now, and damn that last chick is really cool looking, i REALLY hope she is a love interest, she is obviously the one from the concept art.

Ohhhh I haven't seen the dialogue wheel before. It looks nice, though I wonder what the other icons are gonna be like (what would be the icon for "irony" or "sarcasm"???)

Wheres a pic of the dialogue wheel?

The icon in the dialog wheel should helps things alot. Hopefully they add it to ME3 as well.

Also Hawke's armor is just plain epic.

I think Hawke's beard could rival even that of the great Duncan's beard.

It's pretty close, still, sims has the upper hand due to a more polished presentation.

The Sims always had solid graphics (and character graphics in particular) so that's hardly a complaint. In fact if the DA2 is "pretty close" then it's more of a compliment.

Graphically the sims 3 isn't really leaps and bounds, it's the solid presentation that holds it up.

I think it depends on how you look at the graphics. If you focus on the latest technological tricks above all else then no, Sims don't have that. But these games had solid craftmanship with good quality models for the times they were relases and given what they're used for.

I wonder what the female equivalent of Hawke's beard will be? Maybe a face piercing, or a bindi?

Good? I wouldn't say so. Offensive to those who have a little brother who's unfortunate enough to have it? Yes. I do think that could have been worded in another, better, less insulting way for people with Down's Syndrome and for those who are somehow connected to them.

I think this is nothing about insulting, just like zombies can be described as looking like infected with leper this is also just about physical looks

Still, I think it could have been said in a different way but I'm just speaking from the point of view of someone, who's got a person like that in her familly, so as much as I understand your argument, I still think it's not exactly a nice thing when you compare an OGRE with someone who's got Down's Syndrome.

It's not my intention to start some kind of an argument war or anything, I just think that some people should try to find better ways to express their opinion ^_^ Sorry for getting this thread off topic.

A couple of those screenshots are quite encouraging. I still don't like the look of the characters, but the landscape one looks ok, and the building/wall looks very nice. The lighting looks pretty good in that shot.

It looks slightly cartoonish - more so than Origins. But it's early days yet and I'm sure these aren't finished graphics. I'm happy to wait and see.
