Anyone else notice there is Hawke + 1 mage. What happened to the 4 person party?

I like the new darkspawn. Makes them seem more like 'humans turned monsters'. The armor sucks though.

Most likely its a tthe beginning of the game. You started DAO with one companion usually, too.

This is in the beginning of the game, with the mage being Hawke's sister, Bethany. In the beginning of the Dalish Origin you only have that...guy whose name I forget. For the dwarf one you have Gorim etc.

These shots look like they were made on another game engine. They made DA:O on the Baldur's Gate engine first too. It'd be a shame if the final game had graphics anything like those shots.

The screens are nice. I just hope that pieces of cloth on our protagonists will be animated, it would look really cool.

Hmm...brighter graphics than DA:O. That's good, I guess. And I looked at the city scapes and started to drool--DO WANT. But...still too brown. Reality is not brown dangnabbit!



Also, Flemeth is win.

The ogre and darkspawn look awful, as does the terrain. Aside from the pic of Flemeth, it's just another disappointing batch of early screenshots, especially when compared to other upcoming RPGs. And why does Hawke have crap all over his face?

 I think we can be pretty sure we see her throughout the game. In fact, I think one of the devs confirmed it.

Tsk tsk. You would need a pretty powerful expensive PC to top the 360's anti-aliasing without your computer slowing down. Lets not get into that now though, it is a debate for another time

Thats a bit of a miss representation, their will always be a performance hit with AA on PCs due to the lack of a dedicated AA die like on the xbox's Xenos chip but PC graphics cards are simply powerful enough to do everything the xenos chip can and more with minimal performance loss depending on the AA methods used and this is at a price which would fit any budget.

Very similar. Though the hurlocks' has a longer horizontal span.

Hmm, could it be that Flemeth has somehow taken the God Childs body and using it to control the Dark Spawn? Maybe thats why they look different.



About the hair, its an animated hair like in cartoons. Thats why it looks strange. It will probobly look bether moving.

I'll admit that the close ups of the faces look ok...it's the whole color scheme (washed out?) and the actual design of the armor and such (extremely stylized and corny looking imo) and the plain jane surroundings that just yell "fail" in my head every time I see a scene from this game
