I searched for a good place to put this and I think another Star Wars forum should do the trick. The thing is that I do not have a good source of info about it.I also want to know if people here too, cant wait to buy it.
1:How many playable races do you think there will be?
2:I heard that people who likes easy stuff could play it,but will people who likes chalenging stuff likes it?
3:Do you think this game can win over Final Fantasy XIV Online?
4:Do you think these two games are going to kill the powerful World of Warcraft community?
5:Are you waiting for this game?

1) I'm guessing about half a dozen or so.
2) If you like Star Wars, I'm sure you will.
3) Bwahaha! Final Fantasy online is a joke.
4) Star Wars could take away a big chunk of WoW fans, but it really depends on the final product.
5) Somewhat. I don't have enough time to invest in a huge MMO currently.

1. 6 sounds decent for an MMO, just curious to see how sides and alignments will work since in SW you could go back and forth between the light and Dark sides.
2. From what I have heard they will probably put in enough content to satisfy several different skill levels.
3. I wouldn't rule of Final Fantasy, hell with some fanboys you could take a dump in a box write Final Fantasy on the outside and they would pay $100 for it.
4. Honestly WOW is too stabilized as the MMO bench mark for anything to really topple it right away, I'm betting TOR could take a chunk out if they can diversify themselves enough without alienating anyone.
5. I am but more because I really enjoyed playing KOTOR 1 and 2 rather than for it being an MMO

I searched high and low on the LucasArts forum, For any information AT ALL regarding this question. I have posted threads on there, I have PM developers and technicians and have yet to receive a response at all, Even a "Soon" response, From anyone. Then, One day, As I was watching the cinematic trailer again, It dawned on me...This is a Bioware collaboration, If not a predominantly Bioware developed game, So I did some digging and came across this post.
Now, My question is: I was reading a post on the LucasArts forum regarding the closed testing that is being done as we speak and there was a post that mentioned that they are "on track" for Spring 2011.
Is this a reliable release TIME FRAME? I attended the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 and they (LucasArts) were touting a Christmas 2010 release, So, Which is correct and could I get a RELIABLE TIME FRAME for release from Bioware? Please?!? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know!

I really hope that TOR can focus more on story and choices as the so called "quests" in WOW is no difference to simply monster-killing.

I think its dumb of Bioware to make this for pc only. There a couple of good MMO's on console and the Old Republic should be no different; Kotor still has a strong following in the xbox community and would jump at this.

I actually think that ToR is not on-topic in here at all. Here is the correct forum:
