As before, I have a new 360 slim and I just downloaded the current title update about 20 mins ago. Unable to load any of my saves due to freezing on the loading screen.

What did the title update aim to do anyway? Just can't seem to load any saved games. I'll wait till there is an official fix, GL Bioware.

For more info, I am using the new 360S and have the patch installed. I have also tried to load previous saves, with the game installed and without it installed; I also cannot access the 2 standalone DLCs.

Also, can't load my games due to freezing on the new 360S

EDIT: I can still access my Awakenings files just not my files at Warden's Peak

i can load my game, then i take two steps and then it freezes. i hope you guys fix the problem soon.

Just added to the post to say I tried everything also...clearing the cache etc... No such luck...I was really looking forward to playing this today :-( ... Must be the New Slims... This is the 3rd game I have had freeze on me... but this one was due to that patch!! Hurry please FIX!!

Follow on from the previous thread, for the record:



- New Slim 360

- No DLC

- Four Saves

- 32hrs in

- gutted



My problems are carbon copy of those of XFires in the previous thread and as below:

The exact same thing has happened to me as is happening to everyone else that has the new Xbox 360 Slim. I bought Dragon Age: Origins yesterday and played it for about 3 hours last night (absolutely LOVE this game!). I had no problems whatsoever.



About 45 minutes ago, I switched my Xbox 360 on and got prompted for the update. I accepted and when it was complete, I went to resume my game. It tried loading for about 20 seconds and then froze. I thought it was just probably a standard error as I've had games freeze in the past. Then I restarted my console, and tried loading again. Same thing happened. Tried a 3rd time and AGAIN it froze.



I had installed the game to my hard-drive last night so I deleted it and tried running it from the disc. But again it froze. Then I started panicking, thinking my save file is corrupt and that I may have to begin from the start again. But when I went to try and start a new game... again it froze.

Xbox 360 Slim, downloaded the latest patch.
Dlc: All except for the gifts, Awekening bought via Live.
Save states freeze when loading, main menu in like 4th attempt greeted me with an error with Return to Ostragar and Warden's Keep. After entering the dlc menu ingame seen the items from Leliana's song and Darksawn chronicles as standalone dlc's (the items you get in the vanilla after completing: the armor and the sword), haven't seen the 2 listed dlc's (wardens keep, rto), reinstalled them, they showed up in the dlc menu, but it's still freezing. Btw, yesterday the game was slowing down/freezed during the Ds chronicles gameplay.

This is gonna sound bad but I'm relieved I'm not the only one who's having the same problem..I have the 360S and all the DLC...ehhh i can't load any of my saves as it freezes in the loadscreen =\\ I hope there's a fix soon! Anyone know what the update was for??

"sigh" just bought the new slim and now this. Ah, where are the good ol days when you only had to blow into the game cartridge or beat the ever living crap out of your system to fix problems.....no that was vindication. Now, I wait for a fix to this problem....

same with me...xbox 360 s with wardens keep and feast day DLC plus others that came with game. All games under all profiles stick on loading. MS: XBOX support did not know about issue when I called and recommended I backup saves to flash drive and then send in hard drive to be swapped out. Started deleteing games to make space then discovered others had issue with Feast day Gifts DL causing corruption. I deleted the DL and then I discovered this thread. wse have 5 people in the house that have in total hundreds of hours of game play. Please correct patch or return us to previous version.

Kporche they said MS is returning us to previous patch soon while they work on the problem with the Slim... I still have my old 360... I wonder if I can play the game on that until then...

I wont clear my cache for one game. Id hate to redownload 30gigs worth of DLC/installs.

Clearing the cache won't mean you have to redownload all the DLC for any game at all...

I have a old 360 and it won't load. I have all the DLC except feast day and the Darkspawn one.

I have a 360S, most DLC (No Darkspwan or the Feastday packages) and game freezes at loading screen.

Adding in my two cents:



I have the new xbox 360S (my first new console since my PS2! Dragon Age was my excuse to finally join the party.) I have 5 saved games and none will load; they all freeze on the loading screen. Last night everything loaded just fine; today, after the update, nothing loads. I don't have any DLC yet--just the basic game.

I downloaded Leliana's Song and Awakening along with the Title Update today. Not been able to access anything since. Tried everything mentioned by others: Restarting, downloading content again, installing to hard drive nothing works. Its on the 360 S if that makes any differance. The save games for Origin are from an Elite 360.

I picked a bad time to buy a new 360 and this game, I'm sure they are working hard to fix this but stuff like this shouldn't happen in the first place, especially not from bioware.
