I know this has been discussed many times before and that theres an actual wiki page dedicated to this, but my friend still has problems with this. Now I know that me asking instead of him is not exactly perfect, but he cant say much in english so here I am.
He tried reinstalling the toolset, manually installing the SQL database, installing .NET framework (version 4) and also some tips suggested on the wiki page.
He still has problems with the toolset. So I'm asking you guys to help him out. It is possible we've missed some part or something. I just dont know what to do next.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey Xander, did your bud try installing the toolset under a totally new Windows Login? That was the only way to get around my problem. Have him make a new user account in windows with Administrative access. Then, make sure the name of the new account does not have any special characters or spaces. My original user account had spaces and that seemed to be associated to my problem. Instead make it a simple one word user account, reinstall the toolset on that account and see if he still has the same problems.
