Thanks' for the invite but haven't played Baldur's Gate 2.

PHASE ONE: BUILD UP

All characters on the list start
at 20 points.

In the first round of Baldur's Gate 2 -
Hurt or Heal?, each player on their turn can spend 4 points to heal
characters. There is no hurting in the first round. This will see that
only characters who prove popular to at least someone get points. Those 4
points can go all to 1 character, spread out 1 each to 4 characters, or
any range inbetween. Each character can only reach a max of 40 points
before no more points can be added to them. Phase One will end when 12
characters have reached 40 points.

Truth is, I never played Baldur's Gate 2 before. So...yeah...

If that's the case, can we add Haer'Dalis, Keldorn, Mazzy, Korgan and Anomen to the list? After all, this part is just nominations, right?

Baldur's Gate is where my love affair with Bioware began ... Anomen sucks compared to Alistair, but he was still the first videogame guy to make me tear-up (shut up, it WASN"T pregnancy hormones, I swear!!)

Thank you for the invite, but where is Jan on this list?  He got forgotten too, even by the people who remembered the five NPCs above.  And why is "solar" on the list?  Isn't that a type of being and not an individual?

I was surprised about several party members missing too. I know they aren't all popular, but I was shocked with Mazzy and Haer'dalis's absence. I imagine Capt. Obvious won't add everyone, but since his awesomeness Jan Jansen was mentioned I feel a need to also bring up Cernd, Nalia, and Sarevok.

The Solar is a character from Throne of Bhaal. Solars are a type of being, but since this particular solar was never named there is no other easy way to acknowledge her. On another note, Gaelan and Bayle are the same character. Bayle is Gaelan's surname.

Yup.

You get a vote, Celrath - but it really is up to the guy(s) running the game and those voting.

When this HoH gets near an end a poll will be put up.  The voting will commence, and the choice with the highest votes wins.

The Captain and I have talked, and I will probably take over again for a couple games to give him a breather - and I'm content to stick to games to vote on.  We are getting near the end of BioWare RPGs (NWN, Jade Empire, I think that's it) so I'll be expanding to non-BioWare sequels or Infinity Engine games (PST, Icewind Dale, NWN 2, etc) for options.

In light of your suggestion, when the game nears the end if there are more voices for a non-game HoH, the first poll will be "game or X or Y" and THEN a list of topics under whatever media type is chosen.

Ahh! this game seems incredibly interesting and something that I would love to take part in, yet I have never played BGII so this leaves me at a massive disadvantage (10 points to whoever can guess why. ;D), Maybe I'll play another time round with a game I am more familiar with.
