I have noticed that several times through the game, my heavy weapon ammo has randomly dropped to the lowest amount without going to zero. Namely, most weapon drop to 1. I don't understand why this is happening?

It only happens in-between missions. Recent example is when I had just completed the derelict reaper mission, during which I used all of the ammo for the Avalanche. Then, I proceeded to Legion's loyalty mission, so I brought along the Arc Projector. When I was changing weapons, I noticed that I only had one shot for it when I should have had at least 15.
