I'm having a weird graphic issue with ME1 under steam.  I'm running Win7 64 and a GeForce 7950.  The issue I'm having is that all the character models have...contour lines?  I get these dark bars over the model texture following the contour of the 3d model, including all the musculature points around the mouth and neck.  I'm trying to get a screenshot of it, but the printscreen button keeps taking a copy of the desktop instead of the game.  If I can get the screenshot to work I'll post it.

Surely sounds like a conflict between what your very elderly video graphics card is actually able to do vs. what the driver is trying to get from it.  I would bactrack a few driver versions from where you are now, maybe a lot of backing up.

I'll install 197 and see what happens.

Ok...uninstalling the drivers and letting win7 pick up the default drivers from micrsoft fixed the problem. Now its just without the geforce control panel I cant run SLI or any other hardware things. I'm going to start incrementally rolling back the drivers until I find one that works....or I say "screw it" and do without SLI. If anyone has any suggestions about what driver package would be the best bet to try, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.
