I feel it's gonna be the reapers offering you immortality if you join them or something like that. It should be a pretty big choice since it's the conclusion of the series.

I like to imagine you'll to choose between sparing Earth from near total destruction or the three homeworlds of the (former) Council races. The question will be posed to Shepard like this, "If we let Earth fall we can lure the Reapers into a trap and secure victory at great cost to humanity. On the other hand, we can divert the Reapers to the homeworlds of the old Council races, sparing humanity but giving us a harder fight and resulting far more lives lost. The question is, 11 billion humans or 30 billion aliens?"

An easy choice for me, but for some of you...

Not a pleasant choice, but like you said Shand, relatively easy. I agree that Earth is going to be in the balance somewhere, although I'm leery on details on how it may end.

Sorry alien lovers, my loyalty is to my species first.

That is the type of desicion I hate to make.

I'd most likely have to go with the human sacrafice number wise.

bah, earth is over-populated, I say nuke it.

In terms of the choice I think is going to be something like:
-Sacrifice yourself.
-You save yourself but lose something (or someone) important.

Maybe not earth, but actually being forced to pick between earth colonies and maybe squadmembers or allies. Maybe being forced to let Anderson die.

Probably some choice on how to destroy the Reapers. Each choice will have the Reapers defeated but will have negative consequences.

Perhaps you have to create a Reaper, to defeat the Reapers? That could be cool.

If there is a decision as to whether earth will be destroyed, I say make it more personal... for example, have Kaiden/Ash stationed there waiting for us when we have to make that decision

The only end I foresee is bringing Al Gore back to life or not in reaper form.

His agenda and bullet points will be updated to modern thinking, and instead of speaking to the reapers about global warming and co2 pollution, he will be speaking on dark energy pollution and how to really put the screws to those stars that are being corrupted by it. Can't have them stars hoggin all the dark energy like that and potentially harming galaxies now... Tax them turds into oblivion.

This will ultimately cause the the reapers to hold their advances, and seek other galaxies to impose the cap and trade of dark energy emissions.

Maybe the alliance goes into dark space and cause a dark energy spill, and the reapers spend 3 million years on deciding how to plug it up.

Or a choice between Verner and Udina.

Shooting them in the face, I mean.

I believe that the choice will be very difficult, with no clear answer. You will gain and lose something from either decision, and the consequences will be dire.

Basically, I have absolutely no idea what the choice will be, but it will be big. :P

That's not a hard choice.... far from it!

1) Sacrifice yourself to save your crew

2) Sacrifice Earth to save the Citadel

Just some of my thoughts. Also, they may alternate ultimatums based on the choices from the past two games.. ex.

1) Save the council and destroy collector base -> Ending 1 or Ending 2

2) Save the council and keep collector base -> Ending 2 or Ending 3

3) Kill the council and keep collector base -> Ending 3 or Ending 4

4) Kill the council and destroy collector base -> Ending 4 or Ending 1.

Anyone catch my drift?

The choice itself isn't hard...but living with the consequences. Ahhh the joys of a no win situation.

Reapers do not destroy planets, so sacrifice Earth not going to happen, maybe humanity but i doubt that too.

Whatever, if there is a choice to join the Reapers i'm in. Then my Shep will become the Reapers leader and everything will be better than expected.

Evidence suggests that they do.
