I had the same thing and the Warden's Keep (staff you mentioned is also from this DLC) has disappeared from my map as well. Items from other DLCs are still existent. It would really be nice if Bioware did some serious bugtesting before they bring out another patch next time. Because the way it goes now u can go on forever bringing out new patches if a patch not only solves problems, but also creates new ones.

The warden commander's armor has also disappeared, the meteor sword that can be forged in Warden's Keep too. Seems like DLC Warden's Keep has been disabled by the patch. I will try to install it anew, see if that works. I'll let you know if it solves anything.

Tried downloading DLC-content Warden's Keep and re-installing it with Daupdater program. Didn't work at all. Maybe someone else knows a workaround?

In Awakenings I can not since the 1.04 patch pick up my third specialization. At first thought it might have been a mod compatibility issue, but I do not believe it is, my husband is playing vanilla DAO and DAO:A and he could not pick up the third specialization either since the 1.04 patch. Have hunted around the forum, and haven't seen this posted up yet. If it is please PM me and let me know, would love to know how to get that third specialization is a pain to play without!

I've also had missing items occur from the 1.04 that were from Warden's Keep (Commander's armor, Avernus' robes, Winter's Breath staff).
However, I exited the game completely and then re-loaded my game which seemed to fix it somehow. All of my missing gear had been returned and even transitioning between area/towns, my gear was still there.
Perhaps that might work although I have no official technical explanation for why it does.

Do you mean u made backup of save files, deleted the whole DA:O installation. Re-installed DA:O again, patched it and then re-loaded the backed up save files? Because just re-loading the game doesn't do anything, nor does re-loading my save game.

Saerwen, maybe u should create a new topic for this problem. This thread is mainly about the DLC Wardens Keep not working properly with the patch.

Solved it. I reloaded an older save game and there it was. Have to clean out certain areas again now, but I'd rather do that than lose my gear.

Gah, have a similar problem. I have the DLC Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner from ages back and with the introduction of the new patch my game refuses to acknowledge that my profile has the required DLC. Which is frustrating because I cannot load some of my saved games. Think I'm screwed, cause none of the above solutions work for mine...and I have steam version -__-

Hi,
I usually do not post, but I have problems with my DLC's since Patch 1.03.
They do not seem to recognize on start that I bought these.
But after a couple of restarts of the game they always worked.
I waited for Patch 1.04 to hopefully solve this problem.
Now the problem is only worse I restarted the game 7 times and I deisabled my firewall just to be sure.
I have the retail version of the original as well as the expansion.
Please Bioware solve this problem.

Most commonly, this problem manifests when DLC isn't properly loaded and then the game is saved afterwards. Often this can be worked around by using console commands.

I am also having problems with the Leliana expansion and patch 1.04. I downloaded it and it wont intstall because it says my game is not up to date, although have updated it to v1.04 twice now. Anybody figure this out yet?
