[Wrathflame]

PC Version
  System Details:
a. Intel Core 2 Duo CPU / E4600 / 2.40 GHz / 3072 mb RAM                                       

b. NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT / 512 MB / 6.14.0011.9562                   

d. Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600)

e. Direct X 9.0c

Problem Details:

a.  I already finished the whole part in Citadel and the strange thing was that

(1) I could not save during my stay in the Citadel. I had to rely on autosaves because the save option on my menu was grayed out.

(2) When I was about to leave Citadel to go to Ferros/Noveria/Star cluster thing, I could not use my galaxy map. I open it up with the music and all then it gives me a black screen with a name on the top left. So I right click then it gives a quick glimpse of the galaxy then becomes black again and this time a different name on the top left. I right click one more time and it gives a glimpse, turns black, and the name Milky Way is on the top left. One more right click and I exit the map.

Tried Solutions:
I already tried this on 2 different games and loaded multiple times to no avail. My second one had much less gameplay time than the first. Please help. Thanks!

Black galaxy map? I only know cases where pirated versions caused that.

I am also having a similar problem and def don't have pirated version. The only difference is that I simply can not activate the galaxy map at all. I have had no problem with saving my progress but am now stuck at the same point that Wrathflame was.

Info: I'm running Windows Vista (Premium Home 32bit) on a dual core T7300 @ 2.00 GHz 2GB Ram with GForce 8400M GS and Direct X 10.

I have disabled my Windows User Access Control (UAC) since I read about it causing problems with ME2.

New game - came sealed - activated online fine.

DISREGARD - Problem solved - I'm an idiot.  Did not know I had to stand out on the platform like in ME2 - Figured if it lit up in blue and gave me the option of opening that I could access from there.  Phew.  Glad it was a simple fix.
