since that game series had a plethora of good vfxs would it even be possible to import those? Like the good ol' beam effect

i think the systems are very different, but you can import the material libraries, Im sure. Youd still need to make the VFX from scratch though.

is there a way to view the originals in the NWN games? I also happen to love the Heal/Harm effect and the one used for Hammer of the Gods good ol'times

IIRC you'd need Bioware's permission to transfer assets from one game to another.
