I've tried deleting unwanted saves but all that happens is that the save files are deleted NOT the whole career; altho it does seem that the newest (going bottom up) can be deleted, it's just that those are the ones that I want to save. Do I have to delete ALL the save games then start over from square one, ie replay each profile form scratch?

In the game, load career, Y to change, then the screen says X to delete this career (not the current one tho)
highlight an unwanted career, hit X to delete, but it's still there!? minus (most of time) save games.
I've also tried in Dashboard, My Xbox, set up etc.
Also applies to ME2.
