yesterday when i launched dao the configure settings came up saying it was the 1st time playing dao and checking my system for settings. I thought this was weird since Ive been playing a while now, but i went on to launch the game. When I did I saw that i could not load any saved games and could only start a new game. I found my old saves in a folder in my documents, but they will not load with the game when i launch. Anyone know how to fix this?
p.s. I also had to reinstall my dlc but after doing so i still cannot load those saved games

Hi Munin22, the correct save file pathing is:
...\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Characters\\[charactername]\\Saves\\Slot_#\\[savegamefile].das
So if you have your saves in an alternate directory or a slight mispelling, the game likely will not register that they exist. If, for example, you have just the "Saves" directory backed up from the character of choice, you can just create a new directory in the parent "Characters" directory and name it the same as your character, or name is something completely different like "zxcv" and you should be able to load the games again.
