But I personally would like more hairstyles, makeup options and hair and eye color mods. Actually I'd be really happy if these were put into the vanilla game.

1. a model that looks like the guy in the trailer, if it wasn't possible to design him in the original game
2. natural bodies (as always)
3. deactivation of the voice-over of the characters

Like Anarya said - we all know what mods will be out first. Those aside, though, I think the hairstyles and cosmetic mods'll be out first. And Anarya, judging from the screenshots alone, we know there are more hairstyles and clothes already available. And scars! FInally, no more battling shedloads of darkspawn and arriving at the archdemon with a complexion like a Maybelline model.

Hafta agree with javier on this one guys - be very careful what you say about Bethany, it pisses many mods off (and many readers too). The latest silly thread regarding Bethany just got canned not 5 minutes ago - some people just don't get it.

Well, we know there are at least 2 hairstyles different from DAO, that's true. We don't know if the total number of hair options is greater than DAO though. I'd like more options. I'd also like there to be eyeliner available that's separate from eyeshadow, and I'm hoping for my favorite eyecolor (golden--somewhere between Morri's and the "amber" eyecolor) to be put in the game but it very rarely is.

First thing I'd going to work on (if it's possible) is getting rid of the dialogue wheel. As to what the first mods will be, more generally--isn't it always nudity, sex, and hair?
There's literally going to be a wheel? I don't remember hearing that; that's hilarious. If that's true, I'll get that mod.
First mods- likely weapons, armor, and getting rid of all the overdone particle effects from spells. It was ridiculous in DA:O how sparkly and shiny everyone was. I hope they tone it down for DA2.

1. If only rogues can pick locks again I'm certain there will be another lock bash mod.
2. If we have to go in to the fade there will likely be a mod to skip it, at least I hope there is.
3. God Items and gold cheats.

If the wheel is removed, you still have to deal with the very short sentences. Unless you have someone willing to write down each sentence for Hawke in the game. It'll get messy once Hawke starts giving speeches.

Hmmm.... Right. He's going to talk, darn it all.... I'll have think on that. I was forgetting that he was going to be saying all kinds of things I never told him to say.... It's defintely going to be harder than I thought. If any one has any ideas....

This. We really don't know one way or the other if they'll include it.

Make him silent. Cut down the speeches to whatever is important, and just type that in. Would be awkward to just have a 5 sentence epic speech that has everyone in the room amazed, but hey, it's been done before, Lincoln had a short speech.
That, or just cut the speech up and have every sentence or so be the only selection available after initial selection so you can have Hawke doing his speech animations and still go through the entire speech.
Just ideas, I don't think there will be a literal wheel, but something like Leliana's Song. Which didn't bother me, but a wheel would just be odd to me.

Then consider this a thread in support for BW including a toolset.

I think you're right that those would be the only two ways to go. I was thinking of two versions, one with Hawke as the silent protagonist, one just removing the wheel. They wouldn't have to be done the same way.
There's a wheel--it was in one of the new pictures, I think....

Also, I would hate to get to know that the toolset is the next thing Bioware gets rid off in the procedure of streamlining of DA after origins and races

Behold the oddness.
Another work around would be to skip the sentences all together, and just have the emoticon there.

New mods or existing ones? I can bet the first mods out will be updated versions of the top 20 most popular to be compatible with DA2. I wouldn't be surprised to see new texture outlets or something to enhance the graphics. But really look at all the mods, what we can expect to be new is probably innovative ideas or new areas, if we exclude revamped stuff.
both if you say it like that, because even "revamped" mods from DA1 are new mods for DA2
