I agree with some that have said this should only take place post suicide mission. That way Liara can be a part of your crew at the end of this mission. If they do this right it will make a great in between story.

It would be kind of stupid if she was meant to join your crew and be in ME3, but this DLC could be done before the suicide mission...

The Shadow Broker will probably mention something about selling Shep's body if/when you meet him, maybe even something to do with Tali (when she was set-up in ME1), and the data you were able to give to him (if you did) from ME1

This is a DLC that focuses on just one of your squadmates, and I'm sure everyone wishes it had been their own favorite squadmate that had gotten such treatment. But perhaps in the future, an Ashley/Kaidan DLC would serve some purpose in bringing Shepard back to the Alliance for some mission regarding the Reapers.

Actually, although I was not the biggest Liara fan in ME1, I found her ME2 and Redemption portrayal at such odds with her original character that I really want this new DLC to "make it all better."  I want good writing when it comes to Liara...  Therefore, I want this DLC (even if I also want Ashley/Kaidan DLC at a later point).

I also agree with all those who have said that this mission should only become available after the suicide mission.  Hopefully, this is the first of the "bridge" DLCs.

My guess: the SB is holding Feron hostage and will create a situation where you can either kill the SB and let Feron die or let the SB run and save Feron.

Wow that's quite cruel.....I don't even know how your mind GOES THERE.

I just can't imagine any scenario where I'd want her dead.  I may have cheated on her wtih 2 of my 3 male Shepards but I don't necessarily want her to DIE.

I am very excited about this DLC, but I gotta be honest--I kind of wanted the reveal of the Shadow Broker to be in ME3, not a ME2 DLC.

I was kind of expecting the Shadow Broker to be a huge reveal, a huge plot point in ME3 that finally allows Liara to re-join the squad once she finds out who it is and potentially kills him/her.

How big of a plot point could the Shadow Broker really play in ME3? Let's be honest.



By ME3 the Reapers will be invading and the Shadow Broker would be relatively irrelevant at that point. It's like focusing on a Chicago gangster smuggling in illegal rubber tires and other shorthanded goods while WWII is happening.



If they were going to have the SB reveal and storyline happen in ME3 it could have only happened at the start of the game and not carried over all game long.

Of course she won't join you.  There's no more room for squaddies on the squad selection screen.  Dunno about anyone else, but my Normandy is effing FULL.  I don't have room for Ash/Liara/Kaiden.

On another note, I'd rather have the "reunion" with the Ash/Liara/Kaiden in ME3 anyway.  I wouldn't want something that important to the plot hanging on whether I purchased the DLC or not.

looks like your getting 3 new wepons also an assault rifle, pistol and shotgun, but thats just from what i see

its good to see Liara back but hence the title of the dlc, its about the shadow broker an i really want to see what he/she/it looks like, but then again its probably going to just be goose chase and bioware pulls a fast one

But beyond those who use rumors disguised as clairvoyance, the actual DLC was announced yesterday. Probably related to Comic-Con.

NO. there is possibility that Shepard will get mad when he will find out something really pissed off. Liara had to sell Shepard body to Cerberus (mostly for Illusive man). but it's still better not to hand over to Collector by Shadow broker. you can find it out when you help Liara for second time. anyway, I guess that shadow broker DLC will connect with Illusive man DLC inevitably later.

No....they won't.  It's already been stated that they won't be adding any new crew members (Zaeed and Kasumi were it).  If they WERE to add anyone, I'd like to see someone different (not Liara Ash/Kaiden).

Yeah....I agree with you Azure.  I may not care much for Liara at all, but I still don't want her dead.  She was part of the original Normandy crew that helped me take down Saren (granted, I used Tali and Garrus for the final run, but still).  Would I still want her as a part of my crew though?  ....Even though she's a LOT more interesting in ME 2 (finally haven grown something of a backbone), I would still pass.

Ok woah, even I cheated on her for Tali and I would never take Liara back but still, why kill her?! She may not be that shy little researcher we all used to love but she is still an interesting character and seams more capable of surviving on your team now than before if she were to join back with Shep. I don't know where that sadistic spin of yours came from but I think you need to slow down and take a deep breath.
