The latest Mass Effect 2 DLC has been revealed, Lair of the Shadow Broker!

Two years ago, Commander Shepard died and Liara T'Soni fought in a
desperate struggle against the Shadow Broker to recover her former
Commander. Now that Shepard is back, it's time to even the score.

Team up with Liara and confront the mysterious and sinister Shadow
Broker in the latest expansion to Mass Effect 2, coming soon! In the

Alright guys, a couple of things, I've spliced some of the screenshots, to explain, so please expand them to get a good look




So
in this one, it seems they switched the M5 from the old screenshot we
saw, to 5M, or perhaps they just didn't pay enough attention to switch
the logo properly.

Also, I've highlighted the Geth Shotgun, and in this next one, there's another look at the geth Shotgun






And
lastly, I've taken another shot of the Revenant, and put it next to the
Assault Rifle in the new screenshot and I really don't think it looks
anything like the Revenant.


Also, we see Garrus EQUIPPED with the very same Assault Rifle so it can't be the revenant




Well there you go

I really don't think they look ANYTHING alike
The only likeness is in the Handle Design, but other than that, they're starkly different







Also, the MAIN proof that it is NOT the Revenant, is because Garrus is equipped with the Grey Assault Rifle in the screenshot

All I can say is, no, the new weapons you see in those screenshots are
not from Shadow Broker. Can't say where they are from!

So that means NONE of these weapons will be included in the Liara DLC

Like the look of the new weapons, but as I said before, I'm unsure how well this will handle the Shadow Broker.

Yeah, that makes me hope it's a longer DLC.
That would be sweet. It'd be interesting to see what weapon concepts they come up with, such as fire rates and what not that give that weapon an advantage.

awesome, anyone know how much it'll be and when it'll be released? also loving the look of the new pistol/machine gun (and the geth shot gun, looks awesome, hope all 3 will be released with the dlc :3)

I doubt they redo controls > Liara not in squad

If this is coming with multiple weapons, as the screens might suggest, does that mean anything about the length of this DLC? Is it going to be close to full blown expansion, or just a series of missions/one major mission?



Hopefully thats something to find out in the near future. Since it involes the Shadow Broker, Im hoping this is a very important DLC, moreso than the others, and perhaps some of that "bridging" that the DLC was meant to do.
