i doubt that the double barrel weapon and the shotgun are the same... in the wallpapers there is a geth holding a double barrel weapon with the overlord face in the background

 The pistol definitely looks new (Maybe it's a scoped pistol for Infiltrators?), as does that MG/AR, and the shotgun is definitely not an in-game weapon. 

Hopefully they'll be in this DLC, or get released with the next set of DLC right after (like Overlord and Aegis). I know that they said there wouldn't be any new weapons, but didn't they say that about Kasumi (or right after that DLC)?
Perhaps these are a set of special Spectre weapons (and we could get a Spectre armor with it )

Since this has been planned for quite a while, there is actually a faint hope that yes, there will be some dialog outside of Shep, Liara and SB.  Then again, if no one notices my Shep's red glowing eyes and cracked peeling flesh, they probably won't notice Liara either.  <_<

This is the first time the M5 has a confirmed game model. Kasumi, while clearly indicative of a different kind of weapon, was a promotional wallpaper. And for all anyone knew, that's all it was ever going to be, a wallpaper which was no hint towards new weapon content. And I haven't heard about the geth shotgun before today.

Anyway, yeah. If BioWare wants a better approval rating, they should stop teasing new content until they are ready to release it. Seriously, how hard would it be for them to take a screenshot with retail weapons? All they're doing is getting people excited and then telling them to wait an unspecified amount of time, likely numbering in months.

Actually looking foreward to this...wasn't interested in collecting another squad member without dialouge, or another gun, or whatever, this isn't Pokemon don't want to catch em all... Looks like this is something that advances the story, I can dig it...

Yes it is, as announced in my sig.

It doesn't mean much when they show it off, Kestral Armor was shown in February but we didn't get it until now (5+ Months Ago!!)  This is getting rediculous to me. Why show off new stuff and then announce that the stuff you show off is not available with the DLC that SHOWS the stuff in the pictures!!!! This is so sad

-I’m not holding my breath that anyone outside of Shepard from the main game will be voiced since this is (at least right now) being called download and not an expansion of any sort.

-Do you expect them to do anything else? Those weapons will either not be available before this gets out or it will be. Either way they will likely be sold as a weapons pack or hopefully (unlikely) part of another download. No matter how, it will cost you extra to get them.

Showing them in the screenshots and then saying that they wont be included in the download is lame. BioWare still apparently hasn’t learned anything about quality downloads. This sounds more like typical EA marketing to milk more money out of the consumer when they know they have a hit game.

Bull. Bioware better add something, or they failed me. My male Shep has been sitting in Liara's office for a month, waiting for this.

They did say they were considering a romance pack, so that might not be out of the question, but I doubt they'd bundle it with this. Bioware have proven to have some very cheapskate ways with their dlc.

Well offcourse not, BioWare is greedy and they want us to pay  for those guns which, most likely, will be released seperatly (along with another non-helmet-removeable armor).
