Yeah, it looks like it will be in september. That's what I got by "more details as we head into August". Oh well, I'm pretty sure the wait was worth it. It's good to see that the weapons pack is being released before LoTSB. Although I prefer story content. However that new pistol looks "Noice" if ya know what I mean :D

How soon was Overlord released after it's announcement? Was it a few weeks? A month? I guess we can use that to speculate the release of this DLC.

-Polite

I think Overlord was revealed sometime in mid-May, and released in June, so a month.

Hi everyone,

As Christina tweeted, some of the new guns you are seeing in those screens are not in the Lair of the Shadow Broker pack. They are in fact part of a different pack that will be released prior to Lair of the Shadowbroker - more details coming very soon. While this was simply intended to tease them I can see how it could be misleading, so I must apologize for that.

Lair of the Shadow Broker does, however, contain some *really* cool stuff we haven't revealed yet so stay tuned for more details as we head into August. And actually the very coolest part of the DLC (imho) will be something we absolutely won't reveal in the marketing or PR, to avoid spoiling it. I think most of you will find it to be our most satisfying DLC release yet for ME2.

Best Regards,

Jarrett

Looks like it. Or maybe sooner, or later. We'll find out soon enough. But at least we have a time scale.

I'm guessing it will be a while, like a month....because I remember it was a long time before Overload came out.....(After its announcement of course)

I'm (hoping) this DLC will be larger than Overlord, so it might even be slightly more than a month...I'd guess a late August/early Sept release.

We are getting something that has those weapons in fitst, that most likely will come out in August. I am expecting a late August or early Sept release.

Sounds good, but what about...

The next appearance pack for your squadmembers?!

Could be possible that you enter the Shadow Broker's lair and find out that the Shadow Broker is a women and you found out secret clothes stash. As you rummage around, you find more costumes for your squad.

Looks awesome, but if I have to pay for it I still pass.

I already paid for the game. I already joined the Cerberus Network, which supposedly costs $15 to join. Do not want to be nickle and dimed after the fact, sorry Bioware, I don't blame you I blame your EA masters. :)

I doubt it.

The only that will be possible is if its Post-Suicide Mission, and it'd only matter when Bioware starts releasing the other Post-Suicide Mission DLC's we've heard are coming.

Doubt it.

She'll find an excuse to not join with you, such as still searching for Feron (if not found or mentioned) or trying to absorb all the Shadow Broker's personal data (she's an information dealer and this could be valuable).

She might even take the Shadow Broker's place, nobody knows who he / she is and Liara could simply slip in unnoticed and rule from the "shadows".

Yeah that's true. I completely forgot about the various scenarios involving the Normandy's crew towards the end of the game. I think they could do it, but I doubt they will.

Perhaps the 'coolest' part will involve playing as Liara. If the original "play as Liara" scrapped prologue was indeed true, they may have decided to go back to it for this mission. Play as Shepard for one part, Liara for another.

Why, what happens with Liara after the suicide mission? We got Zaeed* as a dlc and It worked fine.

Kasumi was announced March 11 and came out April 6
Overlord was announced May 13 and came out June 15

there's a pattern of announced roughly a month before release so far. Hopefully Liara is no exception
