It's smart that they are getting this whole Shadow Broker storyline out of the way now. Assuming the third game is the grand finale and the "gathering of the galaxy's forces to fight the ancient evil", any attention placed on the Shadow Broker would seem minor by comparison if done at that time. Considering this storyline had it's own comic and was responsible for removing an obvious fan favourite from most of ME2, it deserves a bit more attention.
Kudos to Bioware.
I'd figure the Shadow Broker to be VERY helpful in ME3 if they handled the storyline right.
I seriously doubt he'll be around for Mass 3.

Pathetic to be charging for weapons IMO. Isn't the point of charging for Cerberus network that you get some free stuff?
Free stuff was only for the beginning. We already got all that.

I can hope. The SB was always a huge role in the story for me. I'd hate to see whoever it is go before ME3.

If they stick with the story from the audio files, then it's highly unlikely that it would happen. Unless that ending was just one of the possible ones. But honestly, do you think Liara would let the SB go once she's found him? Just let him walk away after everything she went through? I don't think so. Which leads me to believe more in the audio files for the DLC. But we'll just have to find out ourselves now won't we?

If there's an option for the SB to make it to ME3, I'll take it.

Regarding the audio we know about, I think its just filler, or its one possible outcome.

Same here. Otherwise it looks like Liara just takes over, and the fans could just kiss that LI goodbye. So hopefully it was just one optional ending.

The rifle that Garrus is carrying is clearly an M-29 Incisor.
--Edit-- Heh, of course it ends up being quoted just above my post.
So...more to the point, this looks interesting! Maybe we'll finally get to find out who the Shadow Broker really is! O_O

I haven't scanned all of the posts, but has anyone pointed out the fact that Tali is Holding the M-3 Predator Heavy Pistol, but also has the new Heavy pistol on her hip? What's that about?
Hmm.

should be able to locate the person(s) that have been able to keep
their identity secret since before humans were even on the galactic
scene? A person who has an unrivaled network of informants, guns for
hire, and who knows every dirty little secret worth knowing I might add.
I mean, anyone even looking for this person would be assasinated before
they walked out their front door. It's a little far fetched, and
Bioware is going to need to do one hell of a job with this particular
yarn for me to "buy it". And even though Overlord is my favorite dlc
thusfar, I still thought the story was kinda, "really?". It was
wonderfully messed up & played great, but how do you interface a
person with a computer on that level?
Also, Overlord
plothole...You see one of the last flashbacks that David has, right
after he was plugged in, and Archer is telling him to make the Geth
stand down. Now...why do those geth have guns? Who the frig gives
weapons to potentially hostile beings? That's like going to Jeffrey
Dahmer's house and handing him a filet knife while asking "Which way to
the freezer Jeff? Oh, by the way, I brought a rubber sheet and ziplock
bags with me, I wouldn't want to make a mess."
One more quick thing, I think the Shadow broker is an AI. Bioware likes making AI's the bad guy, and it's a very plausible explanation IMO.

2)I like the idea of Liara being led on by SB for some reason. Bioware may not do it and just take an easy route of 'get revenge!', but I sure hope they have depth in their storytelling on this...
Please?

At the risk of identifying the wrong weapon again, I'm pretty sure that Tali and Liara both have M-4 Shurikens.Cancer Puppet wrote...

Yeah, Tali is only supposed to have a shotgun and pistol but I think it is another case of the cutscene has characters holding weapons they don't have, i.e. Shep holding an assault rifle s/he doesn't train in... then again, why is Garrus holding an Incisor all bad-ass like? It is almost as if it were scripted to accept the weapon he currently is equiped with. Man, this pic has a bunch of secrets.
