They are in fact part of a different pack that will be released prior to Lair of the Shadowbroker - more details coming very soon. While this was simply intended to tease them I can see how it could be misleading, so I must apologize for that.

That's fine by me, in fact I hope they release those guns sooner rather than later.  I'm playing back through the game right now and I'd like some new toys to play with, particularly that new assault rifle.

Its not from a video. Its a picture. The photographer is just really bad at positioning his fingers, damn it.

Hmmm, this may be a stupid question, but where did the picture of the assault rifle in the picture come from? (Kind of confusing phrasing I know)

It was from the gametrailers TV episode they did on ME2 back before E3 2009.  There were a lot of shots of the art department staff working on concept art in there and that was one of them (you can see the artists hand in the lower right).

Its like a 30 minute episode though so finding the exact spot where the gun shows up would be a pain in the ass.

I gotta stop derailing this thread. On topic: can't wait for new info in the next weeks. Problem is, I'm gonna have the dilemma of exposing myself to a bunch of info and possibly a trailer, or go do the DLC without any knowledge. The latter would be preferable, but the former is too easy to do.

Hell, I can't wait for a trailer, achievement info, pricing, length, more details, etc etc.

Go in without knowledge. With Mass Effect 2 BioWare did nothing but prove to me they will wrecklessly spoil the hell out of their games with trailers and promotional videos with no regard for warning viewers that some major plot points will be exposed.

I'll watch an announcement trailer for Mass Effect 3 and thats it. Never watching BioWare videos again and I suggest you do the same. Going in fresh is always best anyway.
