Go in without knowledge. With Mass Effect 2 BioWare did nothing but prove to me they will wrecklessly spoil the hell out of their games with trailers and promotional videos with no regard for warning viewers that some major plot points will be exposed.

I'll watch an announcement trailer for Mass Effect 3 and thats it. Never watching BioWare videos again and I suggest you do the same. Going in fresh is always best anyway.

I did that with ME2 and it was great. I didn't know who Arcangel was, for example, and that made the scene much better.

The new assault rifle reminds me of the HALO assault rifle.

 IMO, at the end of the DLC we'll have to choose whether we save Liara or Feron... I hope that this won't actually be the case since it seems a bit predictable. <_<

The Bring Down the Sky DLC for ME1 didn't have that Paragon or Renegede options.

2. In order to save Feron, we must let the Shadow Broker go.

That's a possibility; but my guess is....

1:  RENEGADE:  Have Liara take over as the new Shadowbroker sending her further down the path towards becoming a powermad ruthless **** like her mother Benezia. In essence putting power ahead of loyalty to your friend or lover.    VS...

2:  PARAGON:  Pass on the opportunity of having Liara become the Shadowbroker and in the process save Liara from the corruption and obsession which has been consuming her.  In essence placing your loyalty to your friend or lover ahead of gaining power and intelligence which could help you defeat the Reapers.

I know, and thats why it remains pretty much the only difficult choice out of every choice in the series, with the exception of some endgame stuff.

ME2, and ME1 to some extent, were pretty bad at the whole morality thing, usually offering a 'best case scenario' solution if you had enough Pargon/Renegade. Call me skeptical, but I expect the Liara DLC to be similar. Fun, good story, but pretty paper thing moral choice that you can talk your way out of if you have the right stats.

Well, I guess that the choice we might be given is that by choosing Liara, the Shadow Broker escapes and Feron dies, and by choosing Feron Liara dies but also the Shadow Broker.

But as I said earlier, this seems to be a bit predictable choice.
However, I trust Bioware to spice things up.

I also think it could be interesting to see what kind of conversations might be if you choose not to be loyal to Liara and bring the new LI to the mission...

It was from the gametrailers TV episode they did on ME2 back before E3 2009.  There were a lot of shots of the art department staff working on concept art in there and that was one of them (you can see the artists hand in the lower right).

Its like a 30 minute episode though so finding the exact spot where the gun shows up would be a pain in the ass.

There was a great concept shot of Zaeed also!

whoever the shadow broker is, i'm looking forward to watching liara kick his ass, hopefully he won't die in some lame way like just get shot. maybe he's a biotic and there will be an epic biotic battle between the shadow broker and liara, a bit like samara's battle style.

i also doubt that Feron will be the shadow broker, the way he acts in the comics just doesn't fit with that. for example, that one time where he accidentally screws up liara's attempt to attack tazzik & the mercs, he curses to himself for screwing it up while he'd have no reason to do that with nobody near him.

also it's VERY unlikely that bioware will give a choice to let Liara die. for the next game and all.

My Shep's been dead two years. He's quite glad to be alive again. He has most of the females in the Normandy II throwing themselves at him, including Miranda.

If Liara doesn't reward his fidelity in the appropriate fashion, his polite neglect of Yeoman Chambers won't last long.

I highly doubt it. Anyone who hasn't read the comics has no idea who Feron even is. So it's like giving the player the choice between Liara or a brick. And then, for those who have read the comics, Feron is an idiot who changes sides every five minutes and then whines when Liara gets mad at him for it.

If the players can save Feron, that's cool, but if the player is given a choice between Feron and Liara, the choice is pretty easy.

btw, like i said earlier, STOP obsessing over the choice to let liara or feron die, they're not going to give the option to let liara die so that they have another character that will be in ME3 for sure.
