Might buy the lair of SB... but hopefully the weapons pack will be free.

maby its better if bioware make a edition for 50 bucks with every single dlc weapons  and things included
i guess many people are going to buy it instead of buying it appart but thats just my guess

I know... what I ment by it, is that he gave me bad news coz its 160....

at this rate I would end up paying... what 40-50.. bucks?... and without the hub worlds, nor the tonsof quest an expansion woudl bring.

Dammit...this the time my pockets close... this sucks...now i have to freaking find another game to pass the time. Until DA comes out.

Out for pc, all is good. 160 points is pretty cheap... so i'm fairly happy.

guessing liara will either be next week on a tue or the week after that. hopefully just 1 week :)

Does anyone think that, if Feron is in this mission, and hopefully he is, that Thane and Feron would recognize each other? They're both drell, they both operate in the Terminus System, and Thane might buy information on his targets from Feron.

Doubtful. I seriously don't think any squadmates besides new characters (which equals cheap voice actors) will have much to say, besides Shepard and Liara. There may be some odd cut lines they'll integrate in, but newly recorded dialogue from inessential party members?

Even so, the fact that I'll get to talk to Liara again makes it all worth it. If BioWare plays their cards right (Romance dialogue, please!) I'd be willing to pay in excess of 1,000 points.

Actually those 2 spots are squadmates that are already recruitable in game, they're classified as to not spoil their identities.

Liara will only come on the shadow broker mission, after that she will return to illium- Ie. you can't take her on the suicide mission. This is deliberate so she can't be killed off and can return for ME3, same reason Kaiden and Ash can't be recruited.

think you're reading too much into it. Casey Hudson has said 12 is the max number of recruitable squaddies in me2. Kasumi will be the last squadmate you can take with anywhere with you. Liara will be a cameo for the Shadow Broker missions, and that's it.

Spoiler Alert for those who havent played the main game yet

(The 2 classified slots are garrus and legion)

As squad members, I could have really done without Kasumi or Zaeed. The fact you can't engage with them in a standard Mass Effect cinematic dialog really shows the clear fracture line between "Real" Character and "DLC" Character. Though some of Zaeed's interactions, particularly with the Blue Sun's leader on Omega, are fairly entertaining.

Pretty much, DLC characters are Packs of Money, Weapons, additional renegade/paragon opporitunities, and most importantly, new abilities. (Unlocked on loyalty)

This is what makes Overlord so exceptional, it's classic bioware goodness, without the stapled on disconnection of a useless character clogging the decks of the Normandy.

If I could tell Bioware one thing with DLC, it's Go all-out with the DLC Characters (Integration and cinematic design) or just eschew them entirely in favor of more gear and better DLC missions like Overlord.

It may make more sense if Kasumi and Zaeed return in ME3 as squadmates as long as they haven't died. That way they could have the 'Garrus treatment' if you know what I mean (joins you in ME2 anyway, though you can avoid him in ME1 and in ME2 he won't say any 'just like old times' comments). That way, the new characters that do join you in ME3, don't come out of the blue for many players.

If not then... yeah I 100% agree with you :)

i think they will but the question remains will they be officially added to the team or will they be a import of dlc again?
