From what I understand, the only missions that are definitely post-suicide will be in the ME2.5 expansion (which isn't coming out any time soon).
What mass effect 2.5 expansion? there is no expansion planned
bioware said this ""The story bridging ME 2 and ME 3 will be brought in a series of DLC packs we are working on right now.""

Liara DLC will be playable at anytime, as she wont be recruitable anyways. Well obviously have to do the illum mission for her first ofcourse. But looking forward to getting it downloaded whenever it maybe released which will likely be very soon as the firepower pack has already been released and it was mentioned to be being released very close to the gun pack.
Who mentioned that? Was it a random person on these forums? Or was it a BioWare rep?

Usually BioWare announces something right before the fans get out their torches and pitchforks. (Nightmares of Pinnacle Station come to mind)

There is indeed an expansion coming for ME2. One of the moderators comfirmed this already. I can't remember which one you're gonna have to look if it's that important to you lol

I'm telling you, its like I said it in the other thread.
The Keepers are The Shadow Broker.
Think about it.
They're all over the Citadel(The hub of galactic politics and the meeting point of almost every race), they're always typing on their little consoles(getting information, selling it, trading it, speaking through their agents), nobody bothers them(so no one would know what they're doing), and they're always fixing and rearranging things(to draw attention elsewhere).
Conniving little bathturds, the lot of them.
i see your logic but there are afew flaws
1) what would the keepers gain from it
2) vigil said the keepers are indoctrinated reaper servants so they wouldnt have any reason to buy, sell or trade information
3) if no one can interract with them then how would they get the info and know who wanted it
good idea though

actually i am more intrested what will go on with tali and shepard. but here is no evidence about it too: a) you are able to play me2 through with all squad members and shepard dead at the end, only leaving joker at last.

Actually, BW has confirmed that Shepard will star in ME3 and save files where Shepard died will not carry over to ME3. http://xbox360.ign.c...6/996316p1.html

So I'm hoping this expansion is either: Rich in content and completely free, available as an expansion pack in stores along with all the others, or light on content and choices so I don't have to worry about not buying it.
If the latter is true, than I don't even want to notice it was ever there was ever a Lair of the Shadow Broker when I buy ME3 other then some trivial news report on the extranet. Simply wouldn't be fair to those devoted fans who want to soak up the story, but who stay clear of DLC. It would alianate more than half the playerbase if I understand correctly.
So no, I'm not expecting anything major. No romance development other than what is already there.

'If your Shepard dies in the end of Mass Effect 2, that's the end of him / her' said Hudson, 'In that case, you can play Mass Effect 3 as "a" Shepard – just not "your" Shepard.
hm, why the same surname ... maybe because it would give more programming to the game if not ^^
can't imagine what they plan kind of story for. his son or brother or somekind or relative?

Well, the DLC's from ME1 were also only mentioned in some trivial news reports in ME2. Though i think this will be the fact in ME3.

They mean you'll have to create a new Commander Shepard. http://www.escapistm...pard-Stays-Dead

Actually, your quite wrong. About 3-4 sources mention plans to do an expansion. One or two of them even used the plural sense of the word.

Sorry to be rude but can you provide a link to any of these sources?
Odds on if its not a quote from a bioware dev its web sites quoting each other leading back to a fan on some forum

Exactly!
Unless Bioware comes out and officially announces an expansion(s) then anything is open. I know they considered Overlord an expansion but that was just one mission that could be completed within 1 hour or less. I'm talking about something that takes 4-5 hours to complete.
