I hope it's out next week.

If not, I'll tell Udina to have an audience with BioWare and tell them that THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!111

Lets just see what the next few days may bring.

Personally I have high hopes that this will be out next Tuesday. It makes the most sense, as this DLC was announced on July 22nd, which is almost a month since it was announced.

If not, I'll survive.

That was a joke.  Anyway, too bad.  Jeanie could just blink us the DLC if it was.

My bad. There are so many 'interesting' people around these forums sometimes it's hard to tell!

cheers annihilator!

annihilator27/mattahraw, could you clarify how Nelson did reveal the release date, and what date he revealed please?!

Each week on http://majornelson.com/ he posts a "Coming soon to XBLA" section that lists all XBLA games, Game Add Ons, Demos and Betas that will come out next week.

If you go to the site, the post for the next week (with all the Aug 24 releases), is 2nd post down.

Overlord's release date was revealed in a "coming soon to XBLA" post. If shadow broker was coming on tuesday, it'd be on that post, just like Overlord was.

That's not true. The firepower pack wasn't on his upcoming list when people were looking for it, but it was released. Bioware most likely made it where he couldn't announce their dlc in his updates. Because we were looking for the firepower pack one week, it wasn't on there but that Tuesday it was released. So you can't go by that site.

That's because Firepower was a cerberus network only release. If you go to Xbox.com and check the marketplace, only paid DLC appears. All free DLC is handled in a different way, as it's only available in the game's menus, not via Microsoft's Xbox Live systems.

I  think I'm eager for this mostly because I'm out of games I haven't beaten multiple times until Fallout New Vegas comes out (might get a used copy eventually of Halo: Reach for the campaign mode but I suck at online shooters so hence my waiting for a used copy...).

Oh that's my bad. I got the firepower and the firewalker pack confused on that one. Was thinking about the HH not the new guns.

Does bioware have an "email me" type thing for when a new DLC is released? I missed Pinnacle Station on ME1 because i didnt hear about it.. would hate to miss ME2 content.. Most folks dont tend to look for add-ons a year after release of the initial title.

Yeah, if you sign up for email updates you will get an email a few days after the DLC is released.

Exactly. It wasn't free either. That DLc wasn't announced in Nelsons update, likely because Bioware/EA requested he not disclose their information on his site. It used to be there before, but now it isn't. So you can't go by that site. We looked at Nelsons blog the week the weapons pack came out, and he had nothing on it. We were surprised when that tuesday it came out. So obvously the same will/can happen to this dlc too.

If it was out next week you'd think they'd give us a heads up now. I think it's gonna be early September, but I hope I'm wrong.

yeah wouldn't they want to give out the release date earlier to generate more buzz? if they're so concerned about this marketing thing as they have told us about this DLC a month before it doesn't make sense to kind of drop the release date a few days before it actually releases. They would want to create more buzz so it doesn't make sense to ahve a release next week even though gamble did say 'once we announce the DLC you won't have to wait long'. Not very descriptive and we have to remember it's his interpretation of 'won't have to wait long' not ours.

You have to realize that Bioware gets to play the DLC long before we get it. He's probably locked in his office playing through it right now. :P

Don't know where i saw this post from one of the devs but they were saying how they wanted to say more about the DLC but to prevent spoiling it they (Bioware) weren't going to say anything. Maybe thats why everyone is so tight lipped.

I wanted to give a bit more insight into the Polish, Czech and Hungarian builds for our fans.

Believe me, we tried to make it work for these languages. DA was able to release English DLC for these localized versions of the game, but that isn't the case for us. On the Mass Effect side, it isn't as simple. By allowing the players of these versions to use the English DLC, there would be large scale changes to the main-game player experience. We didn't want to sacrifice the quality of the main game, and tried to work around this in various ways. In the end, unfortunately, we were unable to come to a solution which allowed us to release this content in these territories and keep the same level of quality from the main game.

I'd like to personally apologize to anyone in these regions who are dissapointed, and please know that it wasn't an easy decision to make.

Maybe they held up the release to fix those problems?

Not to sound like a massive fan boy but it has Liara in it so that already puts it above the rest of the DLC. It would have to suck nuggets to be "just another DLC" for me.
