It's just an assumption I think.  It just seems someone that has ammassed the scale of knowledge/power gained by the SB would have been around for a long time, to learn how the different species' governments work, how the Council works, etc.

I have a similar theory, I believe the shadow broker poses as one person but has many people who take on the name of the shadow broker. Thus passing from person to person

Awesome can't wait! I kinda figured there was gonna be a DLC after I talked to Liara on Ilium, but this sounds great I'll definitely be looking forward to it.

From looking at the released screen shots, it looks like we will be fighting regular old mercs.  But how knows what they have in store for us.  I'm kind of hoping we get to face off with Tazzik (the Salarian from the Redemption comic) at some point.

Yeah, I agree....new, unique enemies would be a nice edition.

We will probably get the standard mechs/mercenaries/asari vanguards though.

The final boss for Overlord was different, but everything else was geth and Loki mechs.  I'm sure the final showdown with the Shadow Broker will be a unique battle, but the remainder of the dlc will be typical.

No it won't be free, people speculate that it will cost around 560 to 800 MS points (Bioware points) for 360 and PC users.  It will probably be free for PS3 users though

I find it irritating that Bioware has given details on an release date for Mass Effect 2 on PS3, but
still haven't given us any information on the DLC!
