Not to be an ass but proof? I would love it if it were true, because as much as people nitpick, Bioware gives you your money worth and the more points the better :wizard:

I believe that there have been many indications as to the size and scale of the Shadow Broker's organisation and operations. I hope that this DLC also confirms the speculation that both Wilson and the Purgatory warden were both working for the Shadow Broker, and attempting to acquire Shepard for their employer.

Woah, people's expectations seem to be getting way out of control. I don't see any reason to think this isn't simply:

-Get Cerberus email with Shadow Broker location.

-Tell Liara

-Go to the 'Lair' of the Shadow Broker.

-Fight his minions.

-Choose what to do with him.

-Liara goes back to Ilium.

-The End.

-560 Points.

Lair of the Shadow Broker does, however, contain some *really* cool stuff we haven't revealed yet so stay tuned for more details as we head into August. And actually the very coolest part of the DLC (imho) will be something we absolutely won't reveal in the marketing or PR, to avoid spoiling it. I think most of you will find it to be our most satisfying DLC release yet for ME2.

Best Regards,

Jarrett

Thats what makes me think it isnt just a simple runby. He wouldnt say this if all we did was that.

Unfortunately, we have nothing to go on, so rampant speculation is bound to happen if nothing is said for 4 weeks, I'm sure Casey talked about Overlord way before it was released. Yup, he did: http://uk.gamespot.c...3&mode=previews (dated 13/5, not long after it was announced)

Sounds about right, not sure about the price though - the demand is higher this time, could be 800MP or more.

Deal of the Weak for me. Finished the game recently and wont start soon.

I'm not expecting a single thing. I want to be surprised, A, and B, BioWare always seems to do things that we least expect. So if it does just turn out to be a small thing, it's not gonna be the end of the world for me.

Thats what makes me think it isnt just a simple runby. He wouldnt say this if all we did was that.

I don't see how that contradicts what I said. He could just be talking about a really neat story beat or the theorised Adept/Biotic buff.

Both of which could be really cool, but to take "really cool stuff'" (that they're not even going to market) and turn it into some sort of massive expansion is simply letting your imagination get the best of you.

Not to mention that Lee's job is a marketing job, and I'm sure he's a cool guy and all, but it is his job to say stuff is really cool.

Personally I'd be super happy with another 560 point Overlord-length mission, but with some really neat story stuff and maybe some tweaks to gameplay, and I've adjusted my expectations accordingly.

yeah agree with the posters in that its just going to be like the usual overlord DLC. If it was as epic as some of you are saying it will be then it should really be labelled an expansion, not a DLC. going through bioware's history DLC's are usually fairly small and last from 1-2 hours max

Oh nono the expansion part was a joke. Awakening style while it would be insanely amazing, nah I know it wont happen.

However what Lee says I know its PR but they know that we have already gotten the audio files, and a buff would probably be a patch or whatever, because they wouldnt want to just give it to people who bought the DLC. Hell if the story was like Overlord, hells ya Id be happy. That was an amazing DLC. I loved the ending.

Eh, I choose to interpret the promises of the Liara DLC being the most satisfying release thus far to indicate that it will be a significant and substantial addition to the game, and will feature an abundance of character development and deeply enriched dialogue and interaction with Liara and other characters accordingly.

That ending was ****ed up, David is my favorite boss fight in the series so far.

Whatever happens, each DLC has had some cool new element to it. Kasumi had the cool heist/party thing going on, and Overlord had the Hammerhead exploration and hologram vision thingo, so I've got pretty high hopes for some kind of new gameplay twist in it, which is probably part of what would constitute 'really cool' stuff they haven't shown yet.

I also agree that Overlord was amazing, fantastic ending that really caught me by surprise.

If the ending of LoTSB was even half as good as Overlord Id be satisfied. When I was playing it for the first time I just looked at it and, holy crap, my mouth dropped wide open.

Part of the reason Overlord's ending is so awesome is the song that plays at the end. Just saying.

Also, there's the paragon-pistol whip, hitting Dr Archer is suprisingly enjoyable.

Overlord combat theme is tied with Suicide mission for my fav ME2 track. Cant wait to hear what LOTSB has.

I don't know. I don't think they brought all the voice actors back for this DLC (which would be nessecary for interaction with Squadmates in this mission), or did they?
