The hidden audio files suggest you get data on the Broker from Cerberus, which would make more sense post-SM for most people.

Edit: Then again, you're doing TIM a favor regardless so it doesn't really matter.

I would just like to point out that ign lists the release date for Lair of the Shadow Broker as September 30th.

As much as I want to beleive that ign is wrong and the dlc is coming sooner, they've never done me wrong in the past.

Im disapointed. As much as a wanted a release date I was hoping for one that wasnt so...distant.

With all due respect my friend, I've never seen it done before. Certainly not with an actual date and not "Q3" or "Q4".

Of course I hope you're right. I was hoping to do a Mass Effect 1 and 2 playthrough before the dlc was released. Not twelve of them.

Well look at how you find her the first time you stop by her office at Illium. She is already becoming like her mother with that little "Have you ever faced an asari commando unit before?" threat to whom ever she is talking to. She's clearly not the same Liara we all knew from ME1, so this "new Liara" doesn't seem like she would pass up the chance to gain more power. Also, she has become something of a successful information broker on Illium, so what's stopping her from becoming the big cheese of the information world once the Shadow Broker is gone.... other than maybe Shepard talking her out of it? She's apparently really good at it, and she seems like the only option at replacing the Shadow Broker once he/she/it is gone.

If you go to the Xbox Live section on ign and look at the "Coming Soon" list you see it listed as September 30th.

Lol , Didnt bioware say there wouldnt be any weapon upgrades in this dlc awhile back?

There are no new weapons in LotSB, but it is believed it will come with a patch to make biotics more powerful.

Yeah im thinking it may actually be 9/30. The last time we started predicting dates and stuck with 8/24 chris priestly got on and said it wasn't the correct date. No one from bioware has said anything yet for our 9/30 prediction.

Well, this stinks.  So much for getting Liara in the summer.

Since this thing might get released three months after it was announced, it looks like we might get some substantial content with this DLC.

Man WTF? Priestly closed the other thread, of course the spam is gonna begin after a month of no information. This isn't new to him or to the mods/devs. Honestly...I guess this is what EA does this to people.

I found that a bit ironic though in a humorous way.  They drop info that a DLC is going to be released with minimal info and for about a month give us no new info and then close the thread because we aren't discussing the DLC for which we have no new info.  LOL!

As for that Spt. 30 date, it's Thursday and these things generally come out on Tuesday so I'm not holding my breath on that being the release date.  Will it be released sometime in September?  Maybe, perhaps even probably given the total lack on info but we'll see.  I'd just like a bit of warning so I  can take some time off work.  I can't afford to go away anywhere so I might as well stay home and enjoy a good DLC with my 5 Sheps.
