Right as this week’s Gamescom — where it had quite the comprehensive showing — is wrapping up, EA’s announced that it still has “all new game reveals and announcements” in store for the year. “Several” of them, in fact.
EA’s Gamescom presence was nothing to scoff at; fresh gameplay reveals from the likes of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2, to name just a few, looked rather convincing. And more is coming next month.
“Look for MANY of our top holiday games PLUS several all new game reveals and announcements,” reads a EA Tokyo Showcase ‘save the date’ note sent out today; it’s been scheduled for September 15, a day before the business end of this year’s Tokyo Game Show kicks off.

To be honest, as awesome as Liara is, I doubt LotSB merits that kind of announcement. It is just a DLC after all...
Yeah...they aren't going to make a big deal over the announcement of the release date for a DLC. They will just make an announcement on this site.

ummm, LotSB has already been announced/revealed. We are just waiting for new (any) info.

Really I gave up hope that this is going to be released this month after "Q3 2010" appeared on the ign site.

ummm, a late August/early September release can be considered Q3 2010 (late summer, early fall).

I think Tegranatha's trying to say that LoTSB *may* not be announced/released until TGS i.e. Sept. 15th, with an official announcement from EA. Personally, I would prefer if this didn't happen mainly because a small game called Halo: Reach comes out the day before on the 14th and also that going on 2 months after Chris Priestly's initial announcement on the Mass Effect web page is one long wait for DLC...

i expect we're not anywhere close to a release date since this might be a Big DLC or they have run into some unexpected problems, and to be frank i do not care any more
i mean...i do not want this to be a good DLC, not just be Great but i want it to be a Brilliant DLC
and they can have all the time they need to do so,
so all i mean to say is don't even get your hopes up for a Sept15 release (i hope i t will be before that but if it is not then so be it)

Hm next date I'd speculate over is the PAX thing coming up. Feel logical that they'd use these events for announcing to get maximum attention. The PAX thing starts around 2 sept if I'm not mistaken.
i wouldn't hold my breath for it, i know i won't:sick:

It may be ready to go but they're just waiting for the PS3 version to be released so they can get full price for it on that system too.
...Nothing would be stopping them from getting "full price" for a DLC on the PS3 version. =/
Although I won't be surprised if it's included in that version as part of the retail game. From the sound of things it was intended to be part of the retail game in the first place, so putting it in the PS3 version might be the designers' weird way of making up for the fact that it got knocked back to DLC status for whatever reason.

I don't get what all the hoopla is about anyways. Its just a DLC. Sure, it will likely be a big one, and since its taking a while will likely be a good one on top of it. Yes it is a cool event because it will involve one of the old crew joining us to take down one of the "boogie men" of the game's universe. But all that aside, it is still just a DLC. People are getting way too hyped up over it. But if Overlord is anything to go on, we can at least expect stellar quality considering BW knows what works, they know what the fans want and they know how to do what they gotta do. So I say lets all just chill and let a good thing come to us instead of hounding it every minute of every day.
Just my 2 cents.
