It is probably already done... but they want to let the PS3 announcement to continue momentum a little while more before they release it. Face it... PC and 360 fans of ME are not important to EA/Bioware now and won't be thought about until they start announcing ME3.

As if the PS3 would be more important than the two Systems that made this game.

...apart from the fact that PS3 owners still have to wait almost another 5 months until they get their copy of the game, almost a full year after it came out for both 360 and PC. Plus the fact that Bioware is essentially being extra nice to them by creating custom "bridging" content to make up for the fact that they are actually getting the middle game of a trilogy.

PC and 360 fans are not important to EA/Bioware now...did you forget the title of this thread? A 360-exclusive DLC for almost 5 months that further expands the story, you've seen how much anticipation there is from the sheer length of the now two threads that have been created just for a DLC that isn't even out yet. There is also one final (?) piece of DLC to come out that will be the official "prelude" so to speak to ME3, and this was announced albeit in rumour months ago.

If PC/360 owners are getting this excited about an upcoming piece of DLC right now imagine how PS3 owners feel, having to wait another 5 months just to play the base game never mind all the additional DLC.

Yep. We have Mass Effect 1 while the PS3 gets a slightly longer intro. We got ME2 a year before and will have most if not all its DLC months before the PS3 gamers even get to touch Mass Effect at all. But the final insult to injury is this: the PS3 gamers won't be able to mod anything while the 360 gamers can mod save files quite a bit and the PC gamers can mod saves and the .ini files.

Did I miss something? Is LotSB 360-exclusive now?

I guess BW would have never gone to the extra length of porting ME2 if they wouldn't have this big ape calling itself "EA" hanging on their backs...

Wow this is a huge thread! I think people are being very impatient with this dlc. It was announced on the ME2 website on the 22nd of July, tomorrow is the 22nd of August so that is exactly one month since. Most likely new info will be released tomorrow, or it may even well be released tomorrow. Things that seem to be labled "Coming Soon" are mostly released one month after.

For another 4 to 5 months, yes.

C`mon BioWare, throw us a bone here.

No, it's not.   I don't know why they mentioned that.

It shall be available for PC/360 for now.

It is coming out for the 360 and PC, you sometimes find people on here forget the PC gamer, which is no surprise since Bioware often forget the PC gamer too [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

Since tomorrow is actually Sunday I think we can safely say that tomorrow we won't see diddly squat.  It is possible we may hear something on Tuesday 24th August but I wouldn't get my hopes up about it.

I don't mean to sound impatient, but why haven't we heard word from Bioware of more info from this DLC. It has been announced for almost a month now.

Nobody knows, and that's why people are beginning to grow impatient and get frustrated. I'm confident that we will hear something next week, however. Call it a hunch.

I think that everyone are impatient but more longer you wait, more longer you will have fun from this DLC :P. I'm asking me tons of question about this too, I just finished my ME1 save and I'm asking me if the DLC be here when i'll began my ME2 game in one week...

PS : Sorry for my english, french player.

Don't think that they are going to give a second glance at 360 and PC players now.  We own the game so they don't care about us now.  DLC.... yeah..... now it will take longer because the DLC team is going to be making sure their DLC will run on the PS3.  They have shifted their focus and the PC & 360 players are going to feel it.

Seconded. I am intrigued. What was your question, Adam?

It was a two part question (Spoilers):

1) Would the DLC alter the endgame save used for transferring?
2) If so, would I be able to do Zaeeds trust mission after the suicide mission and have his death still be transferred?

1)  I would hope, because I'd like to see this DLC affect something in ME3.  Inevitably, I think it will alter the endgame save that will be imported in some way, though I couldn't guess the extent of this.  It may only be one flag that gets set or many.
2) I wouldn't think this DLC would affect anything in Zaeed's DLC mission.  If Zaeed is dead, he's dead.  Plus, I wouldn't see why you couldn't hold off his mission until post-Suicide mission just b/c of this DLC...all DLC are independent of each other.

What endgame save? You can import ANY save created after you beat the main plot. There is no special save like in ME1.

...Um, they still sell copies of the game for the PC and 360 and still make money off of DLC. I don't know WHAT you're smoking, but even for purely practical purposes, they're not going to ignore the crowd they KNOW will buy Mass Effect 3.

EDIT: Also, you're not the center of the universe. Just a reminder.

Wait...

...people dont seriously think that LotSB will be released next year, entirely because of the PS3 version?

Because that would make no sense. At all.

I think people are just joking about that.

There's no way it's coming out next year...it will be out in Q3, i.e., by the end of Sept.

You'd be surprised what people can be serious about on the Internet.
