I really doubt that the shadow broker is gonna be human, seeing as the broker seems to have been around for alot longer than the induction of humans to the galactic stage. If it is a human then I'm gonna bet that it will turn out to only be a "cell" that works as a front of the shadow broker...

As epic as my little Liara is I bet it's gonna be a lot harder to track down the SB,

One thing I would love to see is an epic battle with Tazzik, from the Redemption comics XD
http://masseffect.wi...com/wiki/Tazzik

A big badass Salarian who will try to kick the crap outta you and your squad. Maybe have abit of history between him and Zaeed seeing as they could have clashed before in their line of work :P

That'd be awesome if Tazzik had a properly old school boss battle sequence right near the end with lots of button mashing and quick time combos.

Please no quick time combos. They're often awfull and pointless and won't fit into the combat system of Mass Effect 2. Nevertheless i'd love to see Tazzik return and get stomped by Shepard and Liara.

I'll be really annoyed if Tazzik isn't in this... It would also give me another reason to moan at the lack of female salarians/turians/krogans/etc..

How could you tell - she was under a blanket

Her natural ugliness shone through the blanket? Hmmm we can only assume... :P

I hope the reason for the apparent delay is that they are fixing the language thing, that stops it from being released in certain areas, we can only hope that they are changing it for release for everyone based on the "THIS IS AN OUTRAGE" reactions from the community...

Quicktime Events should be BANNED from all games, and I mean from ALL games.
QTE's have nothing to do with skill, they just prove that your thumb can reach a button fast enough.

What are you people talking about? There is a female krogan standing in the upper area of tuchanka, next to where the shaman is. She says she is the spokesperson for the female clans. Theres no blanket, wtf are are you talking about?

I think Jacob and Kaidan are awesome in comparison to Ashley... To my mind she's the worst character and deserves to get killed on Virmire.... and she always does when i play me1.

I also hope that sb is not a person we actually met... maybe someone we heard about.

Well, I have been reading the last few pages and have been intersted in the "it can't be a new character/it can't be an old character" debate, and I must agree with the "it can't be an old/existing character" side. The great thing about Mass Effect is that it is in a galaxy with a huge number of people. It seems completely rediculous if that you, Commander Shepard, happen to recruit somebody who is related to the Shadow Broker (unless it is a public figure) in a Galaxy containing billions of people/aliens, it is just way too coincidential. In games like Bioshock (as an example) this is fine because the twist in that was already hinted at but more so because the game was "closed". By this I mean that there was only a few people you meet, the city was completely enclosed and the lesser people in the city would have been killed by the time you got there (so it makes sense that you'd only run into the important ones).

The big problem with making the Shadow Broker someone we don't know is that it lacks shock value (the creators of Heavy Rain new this and completely ruined the game by trying to avoid this situation). However, if the lead up to it is done right it can work. The only way to do this is to gradually find information about him and then, at the very end of the quest just before finding his identity, make the person either connected to an organization we know (this would be the best way in my opinion) or to a person we know (but not a relative as not only is that far too clichéd but it doesn't make sense, maybe an aquaintance or an old collegue).

Hoepfully I explained that well, and if Biioware do choose an existing character as the Shadow Broker I hope it is either a Geth (ok, not really an existing character but it makes sense as they share all information together in order to understand it), a member of the councillor (*cough* the Turian Councillor xD) or somebody in charge of an embassy (Shaira, for example, would be a good fit [although I cannot remember if she is the Asari in charge of their embassy, I think she is]).

HE says he is a spokesperson for the females. That in no way makes him a female.

As stated above, thats a HE. And also by the blanket, they mean the only female krogan, she's dead. Covered by a blanket.

Considering that it's the salarians who are better known for espionage and his big bad**** hitman was salarian, I won't be in the least bit surprised if the Shadow Broker was a Salarian.

The Shadow Broker may have Salarians working for him (most likely) but due to their short lifespan it seems unlikely that the Shadowbroker him/herself is a Salarian.

The 13th legion member is my bet. Though salarians are short lived.

It's a renegade Reaper who faked his destruction to the other Reapers and remained behind in the galaxy to study the new generation of species by collecting and dealing with information. Image IPB
