Still no news?



I can only assume that BW have run into an unforeseen problem, which has resulted in the DLC being delayed. I hope this is not the case.

Possibly. I just think that it is highly unusual and deeply bizarre to announce a DLC pack, and then proceed to say absolutely nothing about it for an entire month. Is it not possible that BioWare might be addressing the issues that prevents the DLC from being released in certain East European territories?

give bioware a break ppl because there doing 2 or 3 other titles and not just mass effect. with dao 2 coming you goda thik there doing some dlc for that also

ITA - is is bizzare and what is worse is that bioware doesn't communicate anything but then shuts the announcement thread as though that thread went off the rails 1 day after it was put up. the whole I warned you to stay on topic so now I am shutting htis thread seemed heavy handed given that posters tried to keep a thread going for a month with NO news at all...I am certain it has been delayed regardless of the reason...my guess is they will announce that it is being released in January to coincide with PS3 release...or they released the original info despite having NO intention of releasing the DLC ANYTIME soon just to get us to buy the firepower pack - odd how the only thing shown in the screenshots where the weapons in the new weapons pack...

Yeah they could be, and that would be a good thing... In any case, I think it's a bit extreme to say it's "deeply bizarre"!  You don't need a degree in psychology to realise that a for lot of people in here (who are hardcore fans) that time probably feels like it's moving a lot slower than it actually is, because they are obsessive about getting this thing, checking the site every. single. day.  I'm doing that myself - but I'm aware of it, and can rationalise that it really hasn't been long at all.

I remember when I used to get gaming magazines once per month before the Internet.

Indeed, and I would not mind waiting at all if it ensures that the problems that are preventing the DLC from being released in those territories are resolved. I want as many people as possible to download and experience this DLC, and to acquire what I perceive to be Liara's "full" ME2 role as was originally intended.

However, regardless of how much myself and other thread regulars are eagerly anticipating this DLC, I do believe it to be strange that absolutely nothing has been said since the DLC has been announced, aside from a few evasive comments from a couple of developers and/or moderators. Why announce the DLC so early, and then proceed to say absolutely nothing about it? Perhaps it is to generate as much hype as possible? That's a distinct possibility.

Regardless, I do think that we will hear something very soon, with the DLC being released soon after.

I followed that topic and I never saw any official confirmation that the DLC will be released on the 24th.  The closest we got was Gamble shooting it down as just a "rumour".  I still think we are looking at a September release, I believe that was always Bioware's intention so god knows why they announced this in July.

I love Bioware's concept of time...... Coming soon doesn't mean well over a month after the announcement Bioware! especially if it is a september release >.>
